If the lines don't show up on the camera, it may be a cable problem, or connection problem. It also could be a USB 1 to 2 problem, where it is a USB 1 port, with the camera using USB 2, and it is not supported, because the USB2 is faster.
a 6ya Expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.

I'm afraid when the line is visible on the computer to, when you view the pictures, your camera sensor is defect. Probably not wort the money to repair that. When the pictures, viewed on the computer look ok, the display of your camera is defect. Try to live with that one. A new camera could be cheaper than cost for a repair.
You have stated that your TV has a lot of horizontal lines before it went off picture. We say that lines as retrace lines. So many of them will there on the entire screen, at about one inch or so apart, horizontaly scattered along with picuture. At that time, you may be unable to down the brightness control also. Even though you have reduced the brightness control to zero position, there will be some brightness level on the screen. You should have to repair that fault at the begining. There is a voltage going to the picture tube base, known as screen voltage. That voltage determine the emission of the picture tube, and we call it a bias voltage. When it goes higher than normal, this trouble ie retrace lines will occur. In long run it may spoil the picture tube itself. I don't know what the case of yours.
Anyway it is best for you to consult an experience technician in this case. Ok.
1. Do the pictures look the same on your computer after downloading them? If so, try another memory card. If the same, your camera is defective, bring it to service.
2. If OK with another memory, try to reformat the defective memory, if that doesn't help - discard it, if it helps, use it for backup, never trust it very much.
You can add a photo with the Green Tree icon when posting, but you have to resize it first so it's below 150k
now only visible in a thin horizontal line.
first of all you reduce brightness to monimum.
it just to protect your tv from crt demage.
your problem is in horizontal output section as you have mentioned that week or so ago the right and left bottom edges of the picture began to move in like a sideways triangle filled with black so this sympton is due to hor. section problem.
your flyback transformer or horizontal output might be defective.
but remember check for power supply is ok from
hope this will help.
You does not mean about picture clarity before this problem occurs. Former the picture clarity is well and good means picture is not problem. There is a problem in horizontal deflection area.May be flyback transformer failure shows these type of problem. This service should be done by technical persons only.
