My phone didn't have that problem, but the keys started to not work after 10 months. I had insurance and the replacement was free.
Be sure to get NVBackup (Google it for the free download) and a large SD card. NVBackup makes a complete backup of your phone. On the way in to get my replacement phone, I ran a backup to my card, then took the card out and placed it in my new phone. Ran a Restore from the SD card (NVBackup automatically copies itself to your card when you do a Backup), and my new phone had everything on it that my old phone had: a complete clone.

Well this might sound stupid but...
You have Taken out the battery but you should not have see all phones have power even when off thats the only way to store data without a sd card.
So what you did was take out the battery at a bad time , Thus killing all the power in the phone.
Solution - Take your battery and try to find someone you know with the same phone put your battery in there phone charge it and then put it back in yours.
try doing a hard reset just make sure you hotsync first so you can backup all your information. Always keep in mind the software you have loaded write it down and the website you got them from along with any registration codes. when doing a hard reset you will lose all the information and programs on the phone basically it will take you back to the way you first bought it.
How to Hard Reset a Treo 755
To perform a hard reset/clean wipe of a Treo 755, do the following:
1. Remove the battery cover from the back of the device.
2. Press and hold the power (red phone) button.
3. While holding the red power button remove and replace the battery from the device.
4. When you see the "Access Powered" screen on the device take you finger off of the power button. At this point, you'll be prompted to erase the device by pressing up on the directional pad.
Have you installed any additional programs? If so, it may be those (the old software/hardware, who's at fault problem). If you have not installed any new programs, or you delete all of them and still have the same problem, Sprint should not give you a hard time replacing the phone.
My phone has some problems with occasional re-starting, but it happens when I run a 3rd party software, so I can't blame that one on Palm/Sprint.
I have an answer for the 3-2 red light blink w/black screen. Remove the battery, hold the end call button and put the battery back in. The red light should stay on for a while now. Push and hold the call button and alternate with the end call button untill the hourglass shows. Allow some time to boot up. I stumbled upon this, so if this doesnt work, try simmilar procedrues. I did get mine to work. Good Luck, dont give up, it flashes that 3-2 code for a reason.
