1 Answer

The system doesnt sound! This is anoying, because it sounds only a few times and I have to unplug the usb cable and plug it again hoping that this can solve the problem, but it only works a few times... I wonder if there is a solution for this: I have a 24" Imac G5

Hi,

Thanks for contacting Fixya.com.
It could be that you are getting interrupted by other hardware that is plugged in to your input ports, try unplugging all other things.
Or probably its either a problem with the Drivers or an issue with the malfunctioning of either USB or the Device. Kindly check the bose speakers on some other USB and check if that works, If that works, problem is with USB. Try to use some other device like bluetooth dongle or headphones and check, if that works through that jack. If yes, you need to check and reinstall the drivers or settings.

Let us know if you have something more to know else please accept the suggestion.
Thank You.

Okay well my ipod touch isnt making sound with and without headphones and its not lighting up. Also when i plug it into my computer it doesnt show up on itunes and it doesnt say its charging

I would suggest that the problem is probably not the ipod but either the usb cable or the usb port. So plug the usb cable into a different usb port then into the ipod see if that works. If it doesn't get a different usb cable and try that. Hope this gets you up and running, if not post the problem again and I'll get back to you.

Hello there.

It sounds like the printer has partially installed the drivers but because you left the device plugged in, instead of unplugged, it has failed to setup the printer on the computer.

I recommend uninstalling the printer from 'Control Panel' on the Start Menu in Windows. You can uninstall the software from the Add/Remove area of the control panel.

When this has uninstalled completely, unplug the printer USB cable. Shutdown the computer and wait a few moments.

Then , with the USB cable still unplugged, power up the computer and re-insert the printer setup disc.

This will prompt you to install the printer again, then plug in the USB cable when prompted.

Hope this helps.

PRINTER WILL PRINT COPY OF SOMETHING BUT WANT PRINT SOMETHING OFF COMPUTER.

This problem sounds like the printer is not set up properly on the computer. Have you installed the software that came with it? If so, look for the printer under control panel and then try a test page. If the test page doesnt work, how is the printer connected to the computer, by USB cable? If it is connected by usb, try shutting the computer down, unplugging the usb cable, restarting the computer and once it is fully started, plug the usb cable for the printer back in. Do you hear a tone after the printer is plugged in? If so try to print again.

go to settings / sound and audio devices
select the tab voice

Bose ipod speakers not working just no sound it is powering up

Hello,

Try the fallowing

First things first, unplug the SoundDock. Plug it back in and try again. Then take the Dock insert out....and try it again. If that doesnt work check the power cable. A common problem is that people plug it in the wrong way into the Bose SoundDock. If that still doesnt fix your problem. Bring the product to your nearest bose store if its still in warranty. If not, call 1(800)644-2673.

Hope this helped please rate.

In our area this is commonly the cable boxes. Does it occur on DVD or other sources? If not:

Reboot your scientific atlanta cable box by unplugging it from the wall for a few seconds, then plug it in and wait about 5 minuites for the time to come on again before use.
