Fuji xerox document centre 350 gives U1-2 error

Fuji xerox document centre 350 starts and prints few pages and then gives ''U1 - 2 error Please reboot the printer ''

This is a paper jam error ..and it seams that the 1 is for the top (first from feeding) rollers...and the 2 is for rollers 2...inside..
1. Open the drawer indicated by the jam code.
2. Open the Right Side Door and turn the Inner Transport
Assembly handle to release the transport. Lower and lock the
transport by engaging the Down Lock.
3. If the media is not cut and the leading edge of the media has
reached the Drum or beyond the Drum, rotate the Cutter
handle to cut the media. Continue rotating the cutter handle
so that the green home position indicator appears in the cut
out.
4. If the leading edge of the media has reached the Fuser Unit,
open the Exit Cover and remove the jammed media by rotating
the Fuser Handle.
5. Release the Down Lock while holding the handle of Inner
Transport Assembly and lift it up gently until it stops. Then
twist the handle to the left to move the transport to the home
position. Finally, turn the handle to the right to lock the
transport.
6. Manually rewind the roll until the lead edge of the media is free
of the feed rollers.
7. Trim the lead edge of the roll square to remove any torn or
wrinkled media by using the “****” if necessary.

    Hi,



    The printer does not indicate the Jam but just gives the error on start up. I have checked all the feed areas and could not find any jam paper in there.



    I am not very technical so would not know what is the inner transport assebly handle / media or other technical words. can you please guide me through the process ?

    they are the actual rollers that transport the paper..and have to be checked and manually rolled over to see if there is anything caught inside..if there seams to be all OK ..than you have to reset it so it sensors to get back to normal..
    for resetting it ..look in the menu if it has setting reset ..and if it has ..choose general reset ..or take them one by one if it has more than one and it actually have them on parts..

    Hi Thanks for taking time to help me out I have tried the above solution to the best of my abilities as I am not a technical person and still havent been able to resolve the issue. I have removed the drum cartridge and checked all the paper feeds including the ones from pick up tray and I can print few pages and the error comes back. Since i have removed and reinserted the toner / drum cartridge I have found that the print is not clear on one of the middle lines in the centre of the page, this issue was not there originally do you think i have stuffed it up even more ? Can this be resolved before i land into trouble. The toner / drum cartridge is nearly new its 70-80% full. Thanks

    nope ..you didn't damaged anything ..the issue is from the same problem ..and now it seams that the rollers are either dirty or something else wrong with them ..cause if it was something with the drum or developer the issue would have been all over the page ..but if you say it is in the middle rows than it is a roller slip ...or something like that ..and the error may came from this cause too or have a common cause ..

    again if you took the cartridges out ..try to reset it ...if it do not have in the menu try to open the front lid to put it in service ..than press the power button to shut it down ....pull out the power cord..keep the button pressed and put the power back ...it may need to realign or something ..and if it has in the menu a realign do it too..

    HI I have tried all the above but it does not make much diffrence, Now the missing lines are fixed but the U1-2 error comes up every few minutes during printing. Any other solution.

    A couple of places I can think to look that can be easily over looked are.

    If you have a High Capacity feeder. The large feeder on the left, open
    the door under the duplex assembly and the small 3 inch side door
    there, This is on the left side. Often times in that area a piece of
    paper will roll up in there and be difficult to see.

    The other thing is a wrap in the fuser. You would open the left side up
    as if you were going to remove a jam or replace the drum. The HOT area
    can be removed with a couple of orange thumb screws. Take it out
    carefully and check for one to be accordion folded in that assembly.

    Also, if it seems to indicate that the jam is in the output area of the
    center tray, there is a black actuator that sticks out a couple of
    inches into that tray, It can be knocked off or stuck in the up
    position causing it not to clear.

    Something else occured to me. Is the jam is is reporting in the
    Document feeder? If so, there are 2 phillips screws under the document
    tray. You remove those two screws and slip that tray on the under side
    out. Look on there metal bracket toward what would be the top of the
    feeder. You will locate a 1 inch by 1 inch felt like pad that will be
    exceptionally dusty with paper dust. If that is the case, clean it well
    with a cloth, then take a black permanent marker and color it solid
    black to contrast with the paper better.

    check these 2 from another expert ..and see if it makes sense..in the second I guess it is a sensor..also locate the rollers paper jam sensor ..and see f it is ok ..

    Hi I printed and error list from the machine which has error code, time stamp and error type and All the errors type have N9-16 IOT unit fail followed by U1-2 Fuser Fan Fail. I hope this will help in resolving the error. Thanks

    same thing ..try to find in the menu ...if it has a reset fuser...and do it ...if it do nt reset and work it needs to be changed ..

Defective IIt/IPS board. Is very expensive. Call you local Xerox service number and ask them for part number 160K99811 and how much it would cost to get it fixed.

My Xerox Document Centre 265ST just stopped working and a message: Copier is not available Printer Fault please call for assistance I cannot access tools or anything else.


turn it off completely unplug it. open up all doors and trays....turn it on with everything open if you still get the error you are going to have to call in a tech if it starts up . start closing things till you get to when that errror comes up then repost and ill look up an answer for you. i work for xerox

I have a Xerox Copier Document Centre 350 it has a fuser error U4-1 How do I reset fuser as the copier will not work as it says call technician


I would truly call in for service. Copiers require a trained tech to replace the fuser. Trust me I work in the IT industry. Have a trained tech fix it.

Docuprint c525a only prints first 2 pages of document


Change the paper size in the program you are printing from and delete all paper size changes later than the beginning of the document.

Change it on your default printer and anywhere else you can.

Usually it is asking for different size of paper and will display this on the lcd

Press machine log in button, enter 11111 confirm, this will take you to sys admin mode, from here you can navigate into sys settings to configure network,copy and fax defaults, and also auditron admin if this is the password mentioned, if the 11111 password has been changed hold the zero button for a few seconds then press start while still holding zero enter 6789 to get into diagnostics, and you can navigate through to the above settings caution be careful what you change in this mode.

Error Message - PLEASE REBOOT PRINTER (116-330)


Somewhere in the addressing there is an error.
You can call 1-800-821-2797 and ask for second level support. They can narrow down your problem.
116-XXX or 119_xxx codes normally have to do with addressing issues within the network.
