Try using the Start/Stop button instead. It works just like the food pedal. You might like to bring the speed down first or else it will take off like a rocket when you press the button! You hit the button again when you want to stop. Sounds like you might need to replace the food pedal - unfortunately an expensive item. Try taking it out of the machine, coiling up the cord, uncoil it and re-insert being sure to push the plug in firmly. Check along the length of the foot pedal cord to see if there are any cuts in the cord. If there are, it will definitely need replacing.

Singer TT600A needle is moving, but stiches are unformed. I've tried everything. I've already changed the tension and did everything in the manual repeatedly.

Make sure the needle is installed with the flat side of the needle shaft to the back of the machine.

A sewing machine should always be threaded with the presser foot up. This opens the tension control so the thread can "seat" into the control.

When a sewing machine is threaded with the presser foot down, the tension control does not open to properly accept the thread.

If the machine is already threaded, lift the presser foot and pull about 6" of thread through the needle.

Last resort: the machine needs to be taken in for service. Sometimes the stitch is not forming because the timing needs to be adjusted.

I do not have a users manual for my janomeHF107 and I am having trouble with the bottom stitches looping. the top stiches look fine, but the underneath stitches have loops. I have tried everything i can...

Raise the presser foot before threading the machine.

What looks like a problem with the bobbin thread is usually due to the machine being threaded with the foot down.

Foot up - tension control opens; foot down - tension control closes.

When the tension control is closed, the thread cannot enter as it should and then cannot be controlled to form a proper stitch with the bobbin thread.

The Singer Sewing Co website has many graphics that are the same for all sewing machines - you can check there with regards to winding, inserting the bobbin into the case/shuttle and bringing up the bobbin thread.

Appearence of loop and no zigzag stich on ls-2125i brother

The loopy stitching is usually do to threading the machine with the presser foot down.

Raise the presser foot and re-thread or pull about 8" of thread through the needle and see if the loopy stitches go away.

This may also be the issue with the zig-zag stitch.

When the machine is threaded with the presser foot down, the tension is closed and the thread cannot enter as it should for the tension to control the flow of thread to the needle. The thread then feeds too fast and the stitching is distorted.

Janome 5124 keeps running after I depress foot

Greetings, I experienced the same problem. Mine only ran a few stitches. Foot pressure on the foot feed was always "tension" problem in my foot.

I turned the foot feed around and upside down.
I press on the foot feed at the open end not the pivot (cord) end. This has given me much better control. Janome had no options for foot feed adjustment or replacement, but this has helped greatly. You may have to practice to get used to it

Hole width

After putting on the buttonhole foot, you lower the foot, put in the size button you want into the button hole foot. Lower the button hole lever all the way (so machine does not blip) Then the machine automatically sets the length and width of the button hole...you can adjust the length and width manually by pushing the button on the top right hand part of the machine above the LED screen the top one is stich length the other is stich width....if you put the levers to the left it will be the smallest stich length or width...if to the right it will be the largest stich length or width the machine allows. But, really the machine automatically does this for you...so I don't see the need to do it.....but you can....BBill01
