SOURCE: All handsets cannot be used at the same time

Some of the cordless phones do not allow more than one handset to be used at the same time. Is there a transfer button on the handsets? Can you call from one handset to the other? If not the phones probably have to be used one at a time.
To get off speaker phone just push the speaker phone button again.

You need to reset the main base unit. Unplug the power from the back of the base. While the power is disconnected, press and hold the delete key while reconnecting the power. Wait for a long beep tone. When the display shows 88 or P, press play button one time. If you have a phone without an answering machine, disconnect the power from the back of the base, press and hold find hs button while reconnecting power.

SOURCE: Handset No2 displays out of range message

Please check that you have correctly registered the second handset to the base. It may be necessary to de-register the second handset and then re-register it. "Out of range" just means the second handset is not within range of the base phone it was registered to.

The extension of the lens noise cannot be turned of but you can turn off the simulated 'click' noise in the setting menus. I believe it is under options.

I reached the limit of the ports on my TDA100 and I have users who need extensions. I want them to share phones. the process is when they come, they log on using an extension number and PIN. if they leave,...

It's fairly hard to -believe that you have used 64 or 128 extensions on a TDA-100, but I don't think it's possible to change extensions without having access to system programming.

In my convoluted mind, it might be possible to set up Incoming Call Distribution groups and log in and out of them to make a phone ring in the ICD group. If they're to only ones in the group, you could start assigning 6xx digits to those phones and they could set a button to light and the phone to ring when that 6xx number is dialed.

Either way, those solutions are beyond the scope of a free forum. Check with you Panasonic dealer/installer for possibilities.

How do I use the room monitor? when I go to menu then room monitor the display reads R.M extention?but when I enter 1 or 2 ect... it says not available

Very Cool Feature. With the handset off, press the mute button(menu/ok). then arrow down to ROOM MONITOR. press the mute button again. it will prompt "ROOM MONITOR EXTENSION?" press either 1 or 2 depending on what handset you are using(if 1 doesn't work, try 2). And that is it you can really hear what is going on. To stop monitoring, press cancel.

M7208n phone - mute ringer for external calls

Incoming line ring settings are in the config menu under:
2nd option - Line access
enter extension number
2nd option - Ringing
Ringing then can be toggled on or off for each line assigned to that extension.

I want to connect camera and VCR to my GE 5

Yes. Take the monitor, camera and VCR to any radio shack store and they will show you what cables you need. In the event that the monitor has no external plugs to recieve signals they can recommend a local shop that will add the connectors to the tv.

Set up phone number

You do not have to use a monitoring company. Put your own cell phone number in option 05 (no need for pauses unless you are calling an office with extensions). The system calls your cell phone to notify you of any alarm. Also, you can you your cell phone to control the system remotely. I recommend to bring always with you (in your wallet) a copy of the page of the manual that contains all the commands you can use from your mobile phone. I hope this helps.

Mother phone

When setting up GE phones, they are placed in the base station for ~20 seconds to register them on the system. The order that the phones are registered is the order they are allocated extension numbers for transferring calls etc.
The FIRST phone registered, becomes a mother phone, and the base station is ALWAYS a mother phone.
