Have you switched view to the EVF by mistake? Other than that it sounds like the CCD has failed and needs to be replaced.

If you take a picture using the optical viewfinder, does the camera actually record the picture? If so, you may have the LCD turned off in the camera mode (there are three options: standard, detailed, and off). With the camera in the shooting mode, press the "DISP" button and see if the LCD turns on.

Hey big mike08,
Make sure your LCD mode is not set to power save mode which if it is set to power save mode the image you just took will not display on the LCD immediately after the image is taken. The LCD mode can be selected in the set up menu. I hope this helps!

Your lens is Damage. Prevent nextime from sunlight , it damage your lens if not in use.

Message on LCD screen


'No Picture' usually means just that. There are no images in the memory. So go take some pictures. Check you have the control to the picture taking mode and not the Viewing mode Give the manual a good read.

Pentax 43WR LCD shutoff problem


With the camera on and in picture taking mode, hit the OK button. This button cycles the display through a number of modes, including one that is normally off (except when using the menu or view).
