Question about Lowrance GPS
I have a Lowrance LCX-16CI (only 5 years old) and the screen is "out". I believe the unit is working as I can hear the transducer "clicking" and the GPS aquiring position (I still have sound). Lowrance says they don't work on these any more and that I have to replace the unit. Do you have any suggestions or know of anyone who works on them. The problem with replacing it (besides the obvious cost!!) is that the transducer and the GPS antenna have to be changed out as well.....not a fun job.
I have a working unit with a bad antenna. Interested?
