If the icon is on the F6 button it supposed to press the function button ..Fn and hold and press F6 ..anyway ..on most laptops it has an additional button for blue-tooth that switch it on ...For this to work you suppose to have already the driver installed and the device to be functional..
if not ,,after you turn it on ..it will prompt you to install the driver or appear with an x on it ..rght click on it and enable ..if it is like this ..or ...go to device manager (right click on my computer than properties and hardware ...device manager ) here you will see it in the list if it is installed or nor ... If it has no driver it will apppear in yellow with a ask mark on it ..and need to reload the driver ..(look for the driver on the manufacturer's support site..)

Look if the Bluetooth is switched ON in BIOS settings, also reload correct drivers and hotkey software.

I have a TJ68 packard bell Easynote laptop, it will power up, but display screen is black and flickers. I connect a vga cable to an external monitor and can see contents of laptop on external monitor.

The fact that you can see the desktop on the external monitor means your LCD Inverter on the laptop is bad. The video card in the laptop is good, otherwise you would not be able to see the desktop on either screen.

Shine a flashlight on the dark screen to see if you barely see the icons on the desktop. If so, then the LCD Inverter is bad.

Plug in an external monitor and see if the display shows up on it. It can be any kind of monitor even the old big fat crt monitors as long as it has a vga cable to connect to your computer's vga port. If so that proves your video card is ok. The video will show on most systems when you reboot without you having to do anything. Some systems will require you to hit the FN (Function key) + F1 thru F12. Hold down the FN key then hit the correct key for displaying on the monitor (F1 thru F12). The correct key will normally have CRT/LCD on it or it will have the icon of a display.

If you see no icons by shinning a flash light and the external monitor works, then your screen is bad. If you see no icons by shinning the flash light and nothing shows on the external monitor, then most likely your video card is bad.

The lcd inverter can be purchased on ebay for less than $15. It is located at the bottom of the lcd screen. You'll have to remove the plastic strip that is around the lcd screen by removing the plastic or rubber bumpers that have screws under them. Normally there will be bumpers at each corner and maybe along the insides on the plastic strip. Remove the bumpers, the screws and pry the plastic strip off with a little force with your fingers. You will then see the lcd inverter at the bottom of the lcd screen.

Just put your computer's name and model in the ebay search followed by lcd inverter.

Actually it looks like your laptop uses the LED screen instead of LCD so it will not have the LCD Inverter. You will have to purchase a new screen. I found the one below on ebay.

I buy PC packard bell easynote_TS11HR-032FR and the touchpad does not work, when i use my pc for the first time.

Check this:
Many laptops with touchpads have a switch or a keyboard combo that will disable the touchpad. Look to see if there is a little button you can push located near the touchpad. Alternately, there is normally a Fn-special function key combination you can use. You press the Fn key and also the special function key that has a little symbol on it that looks like a touchpad. That can turn the touchpad on or off.

I've got an easynote TJ68 and it won't turn on. I was using it then came back to it 6hrs later and it won't turn on although the battery light stays on when I plug it in

I had this problem before. The screws on the screen aren't very tight, and can sometimes fall out. However, seeing as the only screws that hold the screen in place happen to be right next to the power button... well you get the idea. You should check to see if the screws are there at all, and if not, replace them. It worked for me when the laptop wouldn't even turn on. Power button problem.

Hi, i have a packard bell easynote tj68 which has all of a sudden started beeping when it is booting up, and the computer is gone slow and keeps freezing

Beeping means that you have a hardware failure. Since the pc has gone slow then most probably the memory has gone bad and you will have to replace it. To identify which stick has gone bad just remove alternatively one of them - with the bad one the laptop will not start. Junk it and buy a identical replacement.
