Hi, I'm searching for a car radio but since it's an old model I can't seem to find it. It's a 1993 Chrysler New Yorker radio model 5269 288. Serial number is 26300077. Thanks!

Why wont my chrysler new yorker start

It could be the battery. How old is the battery. They are only rated for so many years. Most batteries are rated for 5 years, however some cheap ones are rated for 2 years. After this time, the battery will lose some capacity meaning it will have the power to power things like cd player, lights, etc that do not require much power. However, to start the engine requires massive amounts of power that the battery can give out while under that year range. After the battery leaves this range, it does not have the capacity to start and engine. If you battery is old, and you suspect something like this might be happening, take the car to an auto store like Autozone. They should be more than happy to check you battery with their tool to see if it still has the capacity to start your engine. Hope this helps

Fan won't turn off

It seems to me that the fan relay may need replacing. If the contacts in the relay weld themselves closed, then the fan will stay on all the time. substitute the fan relay with another the same, to make sure that is the problem...hope this helps.

How do I Replace a 1993 Chrysler New Yorker Salon Car door

I would check that the latch in the door isn't stuck first. The door on my chrysler wouldn't shut and I had to take a screw driver and realign the latch. If it ends up working maybe some lubricant will keep it from happening again.
