The amplifier have a short problem in the power supply. Need to replace all mosfet transistors.

I can start my 1999 crown Victoria with spark plug #1 disconnected but, if I connect it, it will shut off and will blow the fuse


A bad plug boot or coil is shorted bend the boot back and forth it will show a crack or even break if it's to brittle if not that coil or the wire or plug is dhorted out look at the wire for torn insulation making contact to ground if not coils bad and maybe cracked letting the positive voltage escape to ground and blowing the fuse try to check it in the dark while someone cranks the engine the voltage leak will be seen as a spark

How do I remove the main fuse in an 02 Suzuki Grand Vitari XL7?


Sparks do fly, the last connection on the cables is ground
to a metal , on engine not battery,
this will make a small, spark. all do, that. done right.
but if done backwards, a huge spark with the 2 batteries bucking each other, and damage will happen.!
yes you may blow the main fuses,
my guess you blew the 80amp fuse in the main fuse box under hood.
did you put the new battery in correctly Plus to PLUS
and NEG to NEG lugs, if not, BOOM AGAIN.
open hood,
fuse 1, if it ok, then the others fuse to the right blew.
when fuse 1 blows, all things die. zero power to anything in car
including head lights, (head lights are always the first check)

BATT fuse dead short in 1995 yukon


You don't need to replace the fuse box , an you don't have a dead short to ground ! The fuse would blow ! You have a parasitic drain on that fuse . You need to go to http://bbbind.com/free_tsb.html free wiring diagrams an power distribution diagrams , see what all other fuse's are feed from that an pull them out one at a time till the draw stops. There are some good videos on youtube showing how to do this ! How To Perform Parasitic Draw Test EricTheCarGuy You'll need a DVOM !

Headlight keeps blowing


hi,

use the process of elimination, disconnect both headlights at the bulb and put another fuse in it and see if it blows. if the fuse blows without the headlights plugged in then its the wiring to the bulbs. if the fuse doesn't blow while the headlights aren't plugged in try plugging the lights in one at a time to see which headlight or socket is shorted. possibly corrosion at body to ground connections near the headlights, you may not see the corrosion, remove the ground wires and sand those ground wires down..

We changed the plugs wires and coil and still have no spark. So we checked the fuses and it keeps blowing right through them as soon as you turn the key. Why?


The fuse is blowing because the circuit is shorted. I would need to know what fuse and what Year, make, model, and engine size?

Cant get a spark


The only other thing you have to look is how the coil is charged up. Is the battery good? Is there 12v on the power side of the coil? Is the coil grounded? Are points or electronic ignition time in use? If mechanical points are in use then there is a capacitor near the points that can go bad. If there are points in use, do they open and close properly when the engine is turning over? Is the gap correct for the points? If this is an electronic controlled timing system, then check the cam or crank sensor for function and gap. That is checked with a volt ohm meter. I'm unfamiliar with your particular bike so I apologize that I can't be more specific.

You need to ck for spark . Pull one spark plug wire off at the spark plug end . insert a new spark plug into the wire and set the spark plug on the valve cover watch the new plug while some one try's to start the engine and see if their is spark if their is you have a fuel deliverery problem or a possible timing problem ,the alternator should not make it not start.

My amp keeps blowing its fuses whenits plugged in


Go over all your wiring. Make sure your power wire isn't grounded somewhere. If your power wire is touching any bare metal it will spark and blow the fuse the second you touch the power to your amp. Make sure your in-line fuse is about a foot from your battery, and make sure you have your ground wire grounded securely to the main chassis of the car/truck and that it is either same size gauge as your power or even a little bit bigger gauge. Also make sure no strands of wire from your ground or power wire are loose and reaching over touching the other where you plug them into the amp. If the ground and power touch eachother they will blow the fuse and possibly cause permanent damage to the amp.

the wire is shorted to ground or something in the radio. if you can pull the radio and put the fuse in. if the fuse doesn't blow the radio is bad, if it does blow then the wire is touching the ground/metal body somewhere. you have to trace it back. as far as the windows go they are on a circuit breaker and not part of the radio. and circuit breakers can fail

Have new proper batt.Have new starter celenoid,new


Remove spark plug and attempt to crank. If it turns faster (without compression) it may be valve adjustment. If it still turns over slowly with plug out check battery ground for tightness to mower body. If the ground is good check the starter by removing battery and atttaching jumper cables to pos and neg battery terminals first, then the pos jumper to starter terminal (where red wire attaches). Then touch the neg jumper to a good engine ground (I use shroud bolt). Be careful as this last connection will cause some arcing. If it still cranks slowly with the plug out, it is probably the starter.
