    Select Restart.

IF I PICK ANY OF THE ABOVE (EXEPT CANCEL) THE COMPUTER TURNS OFF AND DOES NOT WANT TO TURN BACK ON FOR DAYS!!

! SO I LEAVE IT ON BUT IT GETS TO HOT SO I HAVE TO EVENTUALLY TURN IT OFF.

IF I CLOSE THE NOTEBOOK IT TURNS OFF TOO.

THE SOLUTION THAT YOU SEND IT IS NOT GETTING THE WINDOW THAT ASK ME THE QUESTION OFF (ARE YOU SURE YOU WANT TO TURN OFF YOUR COMPUTER NOW?)
IT KEEPS POPING OUT EVERY 10 SECONDS AND I HAVE TO ANSWER CANCEL TO BE ABLE TO CONTINUE USING IT,

Good to know that your computer is now turning on. Now, inorder to get rid of that message is to restore your computer from original factory settings. You will be needing the CD/DVD restore disc to do this. Take note that if you will be doing this procedure, all your documents and important files on your computer will be erased. Make sure to create a back up first before you proceed with the restoration.

Which parts should be changed to solve the problem not to automatically shuts down

It depends on why it is shutting down. Is it overheating? Is it full of dust or pet hair? Does it shut down normally showing you a shut down screen or does it merely turn off. If it turns off, then I would check fans and heat pipes. IF it shuts down with a shut down screen you would want to check your windows install.

That means the computer is in 'Sleep' mode. To completely shut down the laptop, you can press the power button once and it will do a normal shut down.

How do i shut down my think pad? it will not cut off

In your case,

the most simplest way to shut down your laptop is to override your processing by simply holding down the shutdown button until your computer turns off (do this when all your work is saved and the "Windows is shutting down" mode is on your screen).

This idea is not recommended but will always work.

Hope I helped

Tv shuts down

does the main board have the flyback on it? if so the yokes or CRTs can be intermittently shorting which in turn triggers your shut-down.
turning it off or unplugging just resets the shut down circuit.

NP9890 shut down

If it is an overheating problem try turning the laptop off, turning it over and placing a vacum on the fan grill on the bottom. Many laptops get a dirt buildup internally and this will sometimes suck out the dirt.
