Question about Acer Aspire 3680 Laptop
Try to remove battery. Turn on you computer without battery. battery can cause keyboard and mouse not working.
also make sure your touchpad is enable by using fn+F7
if this is still doesn't work, it's mean your touchpad itself is bad.

Determine which BIOS version is used on the laptop. After reinstall/downgrade to Win 2K Pro, my keyboard/mousepad would only work without the battery. After flashing the BIOS, things worked out well and all is functioning normally
