Turn off your printer first, and disconnect ALL cables connected to it, including the one linking the printer to the computer and leave it like that for aroung 15 to 20 minutes.
While waiting, do this in your computer: open the printer queue by going to Control Panel> Printers and Faxes> HP printer. Once the queue window pops open, cancel or delete everything in there. If you don't see anything there, that's fine.
After all the waiting is done, reconnect everything, and it should be good.
