I need to remove the stand from my Toshiba 37HL67 so I can mount it on the wall. Can you help me. Auburn Abenton716@aol.com

Removing the Pedestal Stand

1) Carefully lay the front of the unit face down on a flat, cushioned surface such as a quilt or blanket. Leave the stand protruding over the edge of the surface.

Note:

Extreme care should always be used when removing the pedestal stand to avoid damage to the LCD panel.

2) Remove the jack pack cover on the back of the TV to expose the pedestal stand screws. The jack pack cover can be removed without tools.

3) Remove the five screws shown in the diagram below. This will allow removal of the pedestal stand.

4) Once you have removed all five screws holding the pedestal stand in place, remove the pedestal stand from the TV by sliding the pedestal stand a way from the TV (Remorve 5, 4mm or 5/32" Allen Bolts from back of TV.)

I have a olevia237 t12 lcd tv i cant seem to ge the stand off of? any tips?

Hi,
Is it the stand you're trying to to take off? If so, follow the steps below.
1 Unplug the television and remove any connected audio or video cables from the rear.
2 Place the television face down on a soft bed spread to avoid screen damage.
3 Examine the rear of the television and locate the screws securing the stand to the monitor. Depending upon your particular model, the screws securing the stand to the television may be marked with an "Arrow" symbol.
4 Remove the screws securing the stand to the television with an appropriately-sized Philips screwdriver. Slide the plastic stand off the rear of the television.
5 Store the mounting screws and plastic stand for future use.

Im having trouble removing the base stand, I'm trying to mount it on the wall. I removed the 4 screws on the bottom but cant get the metal legs off.

Generally the stand is screwed on from the back of the TV. there should be 4 screws that will come out all the way and allow for the stand to be removed

How do you remove the base stand from a toshiba 46lx177?

First, carefully lay the face of the TV down on a soft surface with the stand protruding over the edge of the surface, then remove jack panel cover on the back of the TV to expose the 5 screws holding the base on. Remove those screws and slide the base away from the unit. These instructions are also found on page 5 of your owners manual.
