I thought that one could find anything on eBay,
but the _closest_ that I can find is a 'D8P' notebook computer:

Tell us more about what part you need, and how & to what it connects.

My hoover washing machine model dyn d8p has a code error of ao3/t know what is wrong ..its new and just used then 3 month now but it was not drying well and showing that error code

if it is 3 months old , I suggest that you call the repair shop as it is under warranty
touching it yourself or having any unauthorised person fix it will void the warranty.

How to solve "signal cable disconnect" error?

Do you mean the video cable?
If so remove the video cable/connector from the computer and reconnect it and tighten the locking screws.
If the monitor also have a video connector do the same with this connector.
Boot up your computer and if you still get this error message then the video cable maybe faulty. Try a different video cable and if the problem still not resolved then the problem maybe the video card.

Screen on laptop is distorted halfway

A) Video Cable connections are loose:
Connection at the motherboard, and the connection at the back of the LCD screen, in the Display Assembly.

Both need to be checked.

[For Toshiba the Video Cable is termed LVDS Cable.

Low-Voltage Differential Signaling Cable. I will just keep referring to it as the Video Cable ]

B) Video Cable is damaged:
Observe the sheath at the motherboard side of the Video Cable?
Is there obvious signs of damage to the sheath of the cable?

If so, there may also be damage to the tiny, thin wires inside the sheath, of the Video Cable.

Due to the routing of the Video Cable under the left Hinge, the Video Cable may be pulled on. This can create a bad connection.

Due to the above also, the Video Cable's sheath may be damaged, and the wires inside.

A view of the Video Cable by itself,

http://www.batterystyle.com/toshiba-satellite-a205-s5880-cable-p-484063.html

If the Video Cable checks out to be OK, the next item is the screen Inverter.
To test a screen Inverter you need a sensitive multimeter. This usually means expensive. { Or use a known to be good, compatible screen Inverter } Just thought I would state that. Don't want you to completely disassemble your laptop, just to fix a Video Cable, or screen Inverter. {Or LCD screen)

Most consumers decide to just replace the screen Inverter because;
1) If the problem isn't the screen Inverter, it is the LCD screen.
(A LOT of people buy an LCD screen, when all they really needed was a screen Inverter)

An EXPENSIVE part.
(LCD screen? $150 to $400 approximately. Screen Inverter? Usually around $22 to $48 )

2) The ease of access to replace.

As stated, if the problem isn't the screen Inverter, then it is the LCD screen.

1) With ALL power removed, AC adapter (Charger), and Battery, remove the Keyboard Bezel, and the Keyboard.

This is the motherboard connection side.

Display Assembly removed with Video Cable.
Now remove the Display Bezel, and LCD screen assembly, to access the Video Cable connection to the back of the LCD screen.

{NOTE*
The screen Inverter is mounted at the bottom of the LCD screen, and behind the Display Bezel }

This shows the Video Cable, and it's connection at the motherboard side,

http://www.irisvista.com/tech/laptops/toshiba-satellite-a205/laptop-disassembly-2.htm

Scroll down, click on the photo in Step 9.
The Video Cable is the cable to the upper Left side. Has one Red arrow pointing to the left.
The photo in Step 10 shows the Video Cable disconnected from the motherboard.

(This is Page 2 of a disassembly guide. Pages 1 through 4 are available above, and below. Page1::Page2::Page3::Page4::Find another model,
in white.
Just thought I would state that. Don't want you to completely disassemble your laptop, just to fix a Video Cable, or screen Inverter, or LCD screen) )

2) LCD screen side:

http://www.insidemylaptop.com/remove-lcd-screen-from-toshiba-laptop/

All three links above will help you with checking the connections, or removing the cable to perform a continuity check. (Test)

Also with accessing the screen Inverter, and LCD screen.

How to connect samsung dvd to samsung tv

Follow these steps: Component Video Connection 1. Get a component video cable. This cable has 3 sets of connectors, one each for the red, blue and green color signals.
2 Match the connectors to the appropriate video output jacks on the DVD player. Component video outputs will normally be labeled Cr/Cb/Cy. The Cy output jack is matched to green, Cr to red and Cb to blue.
3 Run the cable from DVD player to the TV. Most TV connections are made from the back panel, but this may vary.
4 Match the connectors to the appropriate video input jacks on the TV.
If using S-Video Connection
1 Get an S-video cable. This cable has a single round connector with 4 pins.
2 Attach one end of the S-video cable to the S-video output jack on the DVD player.
3 Attach the other end to the S-video input jack on the TV.
Composite Video Connection 1 Get a composite video cable. These types of cables are frequently bundled with two-channel audio cables. Composite video cables are tipped with yellow plugs.
2 Plug one end of the composite video cable into the composite video output jack on your DVD player.
3 Plug the other end into the composite video input jack on your TV.

I have a Sony Trinaton XBR about 6 years old. Works great. Have Comcast cable and they recently installed a new cable box. Now I get all cable channels on "Video 6 - DVD" rather than "Video 7 -Cable Box"....

Hi,
I was awaiting your response in chat session but could not get any thing.
Please hook cable box in Video input-7 instead of Video input-6 in TV and select Video input-7 with remote on TV.
Regarding continues on-screen display of video-6, press Display button on TV remote once, on-screen display will disappear.
Thanks.

Cant hook dvd/vcr to my cable box the manual says I need a extern

The cable box IS an external tuner.  You should connect the video output (either S video, HDMI, or component video) of the cable box to the video input of the DVD.  Then connect the audio output of the cable box to the audio input of the DVD via stereo RCA cables.  If your tv monitor has multiple inputs (ie: video 1, 2, and 3...) connect the video and audio output of the DVD to your tv monitor using an alternate video input (if cable box goes into your tv thru video 1, connect the DVD to video 2).  If your cable box only has one output, or your tv has only one input, then just connect your cable box to the DVD as above, and connect the DVD to your tv.

I have a Sager D8P laptop, For some reason I cannot get the laptop to turn on. It has a new power supply and when I press the power button, it makes noise like it is turning on, but nothing appears on the...

The video card may have went out.The screen itself rarely goes out.its either videocard, video inverter or a loose video cable. The D8P has a tendency to overheat when the cooling fan is either not working or is blocked or dirty.Try unplugging the video cable with it powered off, then plug it back in.Maybe you will get lucky and it will work.If not i would say the videocard is damaged.
