The referenced material is an "operating" manual.

It contains no information concerning the replacement of the

    drain tube.

The oil leaks out of the drain tube, I have four of them and it only leaks out of one, what can I do to stop it?

Check if there is no foreign object jammed on the ball valve. You must first drain the oil. Examine also the gasket for damage, if there is, you have to replace the ball valve.

How do I replace oil drain tube?

It's easy, but greasy!
There are two black plastic securing bolts on the base (the one in the middle is longer than the other one, and you reach this by removing the screws on the base). These are fairly deep down and have an Allen key type head, so you need to sort out a suitable driver. The three at the back let you get to the securing bolt and two other Philips screws. Then the base lifts off. You can see the tube and if you pinch the clip you can pull it away from the Mattel drain and remove it. Took me about 30 minuted once I got the right tools.

De'Longhi Rotofryer FRP Easy Clean Fryer, 1kg instructions

Unfortunately the model you have does not have the drain tube. The FI8 is the model you are thinking about. The FRP has an arrow at the side of the rim to show where to tilt the fryer AFTER THE OIL HAS COOLED, FOR TWO HOURS AT LEAST!! Hope this helps you.

Model D690UX Delonghi deep fryer

Well I did solve my own dilemma. You have to unscrew the bottom black bolt in the bottom center of the unit. the open up the front panel to reveal a tiny screw just below the top center of the front panel. Remove it. Be very careful and remove the front panel. Pull lightly up on the inner black pot to reveal the clamp that holds the old drainage tube. Using a needle nose wrench, squeeze the clamp together to release the old tube and the clamp. Add new drainage tube inside the clamp and do the reverse. Make sure when you put the front panel back on, the open button's bottom part is inside a little **** or it will not work (it will fall out when you take front panel off). Make sure the little lamp is inside the red ON button.

Problems with black ash clogging up my flame tubes

Hi, If this is a new fryer it probably has the wrong gas jets in it. Probably set up for natural and using propane. Could be the gas pressures not set right on the valve. If this is the case, call your gas company and they will probably check it without charge. If it is a fryer that has been in use for a while and this problem just started you probably have a leak in your tubes to where oil is leaking into the flame area and the fryer will probably have to be replaced. It may be able to be welded if you have a good welder and he can find the leak in a place that can be welded. Good luck, kstfas
