Four screws hold the covers on the heater, then look under the top black disk like bezel you'll see two clips that hold the bezel down, pull the clips , you should be able to turn the disk over and expose the circuit board. Now try to light the heater and look for trouble lights. Each light is labeled with a abbreviation of the problem area. The displays that you are seeing are normal boot up displays.

Aslo you will get these codes and your heater will turn off if you don't have any water flowing through it. There is a pressure switch in the heater that prevents it from running (heating) it the unit cannot detect enough water flowing through it.

Error pertains to stack flue sensor setting.
There are two modes for low level programming and default is a (0) Zero but for outdoor spas this must be reset to a one ( 1 )
Just hold the off button down for 30 seconds let up, press down again, use arrow buttons on key pad to set from 0 to 1...press off again....

What r13 code mean

There is no r13 code on your heater. The r13 flashes everytime you turn on your heater, wait, then see if it fires, if not, you will get an error code starting with EO then a number, or the "service system" or "service heater" light will come on.

Pentair Minimax CH Propane Millivolt Ignition Heaters error E05 what is it?

If you are firing, and then going off and getting an E05, your igniter is to blame. It may be glowing but it's getting weak. The diagnostic goes further but that is usually the fix.. With inactivity, the igniter is always to blame. You really need to fire it off weekly to make it reliable and make sure that your heater is serviced at least one time a year to keep all the internal components operating as designed.

Fault code R9 comes on

R9 is a boot up sequence number. If possible, remove the top disk to view the circuit board under the control panel and start the heater again, look for any fault LEDs to illuminate.

I have a h400 gas heater. keeps shutting off reading 1F code

If the heater is cycling on and off continuously the problem may be a dirty filter. Try backwashing and rinsing the filter before anything else.
