This is a protective shutdown. it can be anything inside, but you can narrow it down. there are green LEDs inside, one for each voltage line. if one doesn't come up, that can be your shorted out voltage line. if you have a multimeter, you can ohm out all the fuses and see which one is blown to follow it to your failure. they are chemical fuses and you cant see if they're blown. either way, its going to be a somewhat tricky repair, and if you cannot solder or have a multimeter, best to leave to the pros. some of these just need 1 fuse and 1 cap, so it could be cheap, never know till you dive in. warning, this tv produces 30,000 volts so be careful.

Tv shuts itself down

This is due to bad caps read here what a cap is www.badcaps.net see you tv is getting hot as normal but the caps cannot stand it any more thus shutting the tv down. The bad caps would be more or less in the power supply unit of this TV. So you can buy a new psu or get it repaired by a expert.

Keeps turning off by itself after about 30 minutes

Is your air intake clean or clogged.. Maybe it's overheating causing it to shut off.. Had the same problem didn't replace the bulb but cleaned the intake and it works great again. Worth a try.. Intake is located on the left back pannel of the tv.. outside pannel pops off easly.

Tv shuts itself off

The power supply may be going on to protection mode. This is usualy because one of the scan amplifiers may have failed, or something is taking too much current and forcing the power supply to shut down.
