when was the last time it had the oil / filter changed ? change it and see if it goes away, weak oil will damage the engine and a contaminated oil filter will stop working.
Clean the area of any oil/ dirt. Remove oil filter and check only one round seal. Sometimes when filters changed the original seal can be left on. Replace and tighten filter and start engine. Have a light handy and watch the area for any leaks.
the oil filter is between the firewall and the engne,you get to it from under the car,stick a screwdriver through it and turn to remove,smear the new seal with oil and replace hand tight.after filling with oil start engine and check for leaks.
