I would run composite video (yellow, white, red ) cables
just find the jacks labeled "output" on the dvd or vcr
match the colors to the jacks labeled "input" on the tv.
once hooked up, push tv/video or input on the tv remote to flip to the correct input you plugged the device in to.

The DVD/VCR player should have video (Y) plus right (R) and left (?) outputs that connect to corresponding inputs on the rear of the Bravia TV. You should be able to press the TV/VCR button on the remote to select that device as the input source.

LCD TV connection to DVD-VCR

OK here is a possible solution: 1) The best solution: Connect the antenna to your DVD-VCR through the RF Input and the the RF Out to your TV This take care of the VCR part. Then you get an RCA three way cable (Video-yellow marked, Right Audio-Red marked, Left Audio-white marked)connect the yellow marked RCA cord to the Video out of your DVD player then connect the other end to your video in of your TV. Ater that connect the red marked audio cable to the R Audio out of your DVD player to the R Audio in of your TV do the same for the white marked Audio cable. You will now be able to switch from VCR-RF to DVD-RCA.

Connect VCR to HDTV

If there is an extra AV connection just use that. Now note that VCRs have inferior picture quality compared to DVD. No matter what you do you will never get the crisp picture you get from a DVD. In fact I don't even use vcr anymore because they are outdated. Since you have an HDV it would be a great idea to enjoy blu ray on in it as well. Blu ray palyer are getting cheaper now.

Connecting a DVD/VCR combo to LCD TV

The best suggestion I would advise is to buy a shielded scart connector & connect that from your DVD combi to either AV1 OR AV2. It sounds as if you are picking up RF interference from your current connections, this can sometimes happen if the cables do not have adequate shielding.

How to connect using a LCD monitor, cable box, DVD player

You won't need the VCR, that's only used for a cable box, and since you have one now there is no need. You'll want to connect everything with the better video plugin possible. Composite (red, white, yellow) is the worst, then s-video, then component (red, blue, green), then DVI, then HDMI. That will square your video. Then send all audio signals to the Denon. These cables are usually the red and white cables. OR Plug everything into the Denon to the appropriate input. Then connect the monitor to the video out of the Denon.
