Your going to need to take all the screws out of the bottom of the case. Then after that take out the keyboard cover, take out the screws for the keyboard and take that out. Once you get that done then take out any screws you see with the top opened such as the screws that hold the screen in place and there might be two screws in the area where the power connector would be that holds in the screen as well.

Take out the screen and make sure its unplugged from the motherboard, make sure any power connectors are unhooked and also take out the ribbon cables for the mousepad.

Once you do that then go ahead and take the top bezel off at this point and you will see the motherboard plus the AC Adapter that broke off.

Check out the jack and if its not broken then you will need to solder it back onto the motherboard which means you'll need to take out all the screws holding down the motherboard. Then after taking out all the screws you can take out the motherboard. You'll then have access to the bottom of the motherboard where you can solder the jack back onto the motherboard.

There are many known ways to reset / remove / bypass the password:

* By removing the CMOS battery
* By using the motherboard jumper
* By using MS DOS command
* By using Backdoor BIOS password

but if it is the windows password, then you have to use a windows password recovery tool to reset the password.

My L350 isn't opening the desk top, instead it says Windows failed to start a recent software/hardware may be the cause. To fix the problem insert your insterlation disc (I dont have one).

Restart the computer and after it does the POST (before Windows is suppose to start up), hit F8. Select last know good configuration or safe mode.
