It doesnt work...

I just bought razor mouse and it doesnt work. But only on my PC.

Do I have to update drivers (btw I already tried this), or is there something wrong with my USB protocols?

Other USB devices work fine (didn't try keyboards), but every USB mouse I try doesnt work. Please help....

Normal 0 Try disconnecting the Mouse Receiver from the USB port and reinstall the CD software program. When the program asks you to connect the Mouse Receiver to the USB port, do so and it should work.
Hope this helps. Bud

My logitech optical mouse keeps disconnecting. Have to keep pressing the connect button on the bottom.

There is interference nearby like a mobile phone or radio. Also the mouse maybe located very far and the batteries may be weak.

Got a new laptop, acer 6930, my old mouse worked until some updates were done, so i bought a new Logitech wirelesss mouse,, it says it installed it, but it doesnt work

if these updates are logitech based. may be issue with hid driver system.

  1. open the device manager
  2. look for the mouse section
  3. right click on the logitech mouse
  4. update driver (do not start auto updater)
  5. select advanced/install from specific location
  6. then select dont search i will choose a driver.
  7. if you see more then one logitech driver choose hid-compliant device.
  8. mouse should start working uninstall all logitech programs and delete all folders for logitech in the programs folder.
  9. use CCleaner to get rid of any registry entries.

Wireless mouse installation

Make sure that you sync your mouse with receiver if it has it. If you have done so already try new battried and another computer to test the hardware. If fals then RMA it.

USB mouse...(Razor)

I would check to see if, in your bios settings, that Legacy USB mouse detection is enabled.. That is usually a cause for this problem if it is not enabled....

Also, make sure the drivers you are using are for the right Operating System (ie, Vista, XP Home, XP Pro, etc...)...

Razer Copperhead mouse problem

Check the BIOS settings on your computer: is it set to boot from USB drive?  that may be the problem.

Mouse trouble

To fix this problem, first uninstall your mouse in your device manager. After this, use the mouse's install CD to reinstall the driver. If you do not have a CD, or it does not require a CD, windows may already have the driver pre loaded and can take care of it. If not, you can goto the mouse manufacturers web site and download the driver from there.
