Verify first if the bleach/fabric softener compartment in the dispenser drawer is full of water. If water is present, pull the dispenser drawer out then release the clip to pull it out completely. Remove the fabric softener compartment cover and clean the tubes both in the dispenser cavity and the compartment cover. The tubes fit together but the tube in the cover does not touch the bottom of the cavity to allow siphoning action when an overflow situation is created in the compartment to dispense the fabric softener. No dispensing action will occur if the tubes are clogged

The fabric softener compartment is filled only with water during the rinse fill as the right-hand side dispenser valve is activated only during this time. Allow the washer to advance to the rinse cycle before checking the fabric softener compartment for water. If the issue is water not being fed to the fabric softener, either the dispenser valve is not working or not activated or the holes where the water is being fed to the compartment is clogged. Check the holes on the dispenser housing directly above the bleach and softener compartment and clear it from clogs.

Swap the dispenser valve wires to check the condition of the dispenser valve if the holes are clear. Put bleach, detergent, and fabric softener in their respective compartments then run the washer and allow it to advance to the rinse cycle. Check which compartment is not flooded or dispensed after the cycle is completed.

Cabrio wtw7600xw2 when water enters the bleach or softner dispensers it runs over and leaks on floor. I've cleaned the outlets their clear. Seems too much water comes in to dispenser areas.

If the lines to the drum are clear and draining properly then you will need to replace the water inlet valve since it is allowing to much water to pass through to the dispenser. Here is that part to order. Whirlpool W10326913 Valve AppliancePartsPros com

The fabric softner isn't draining during cycle but the bleach and detergent do just fine. I took out drawer and cleaned the dispenser but still won't empty. Help!

When cleaning the softener chamber, make sure you remove and clean the syphon tube thoroughly. This is the only chamber designed to handle liquid. Otherwise, check that you have sufficient water pressure and that the cold valve opens fully. If you dont hear a decent gush of water during the rinse cycle, it's either pressure or the valve.

Bleach & Softner not dispensing correctly

I finally figured mine out! Remove the dispensing tray then take a small brush, or maybe a q-tip and clean out the small hole right above the softener tray. Mine had mold in it and wouldn't let the water fill the tray, which is what causes the softener to dispense!

Takes almost 2 hours to complete a wash cycle

Have you ever cleaned it out? Its likely due to a plugged drain, not allowing the system to drain fast enough for the normal cycle. Check out my solution on

Bleach and softener dispensers filled with water at end of cycle

Yes, remove the dispenser tray by pressing on the button on the softner and pulling out tray completely. Now lift the flap over the softner compartment and clean thourougly with hot water, making sure all tubes and holes are free from residue softner/detergents. Replace flap by making sure the bigger tube fits OVER the smaller tube and click into place. Replace tray. Water is present due to the "syphon effect" of the dispenser not working, caused by residue detergents blocking the tubes/holes. Oshie
