Question about Computers & Internet
making a backup of your outlook express is very easy, and it doesn't cost anything to you.
You have two options, either use the backup options build into outlook express 6 or do a back up manually first the backup of outlook express:
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/270670/en read this page. You can use the instructions on that page to back up, or you can back up the files yourself.
to make a backup of your personal files which you will find from my computer and then from the C drive. c:\users\username Or in older computers c:\documents and settings\username
The emails are stored in a hidden local settings folder or application data folder, which will be backed up automatically when you take a back up from your personal file folder.
Resting the backup into the appropriate place in the future will return the emails that you backed up.
Any questions, let me know.
