It is simple procedure.
Open messaging, go to Options, then Settings, the select "Other". In other scroll to Memory in use. Here, click options and select change. It will ask store messages to
After selecting Memory card,
It will ask "Copy all messages to the new message memory?" Choose Yes
It will ask "Save Original Messages" Choose Yes

You can do it this way "
go to Message-> options-> SIM Messages(this will open the sim msgs)-> select the one you wish to copy-> options-> Copy (select inbox & press OK)".
The message shall now be copied to your Inbox ie phone memory.

You can not transfer any msgs now but for future you can start saving them on the memory card from settings/options in Messaging.
