How can i change the lenguaje in my blackberry 8330

Go to "ajustes" (settings)
Next to "lenguaje" (language)
The you scroll and change to English.

I'm a spanish native speaker
look for the settings(configuracion) then look for the language(idioma or lenguaje) Then select enligsh or ingles.

press menu, find settings icon and click on it, and look for the words-lengua, lenguaje, idioma, el lengua, el idioma, or el lenguage, click on it and then click on Inglés, it should be back to enlish.

2. In the Device Databases list, select the Messages database, then click Clear.
3. A warning message appears. Click OK to continue. The database is deleted from the BlackBerry smartphone.
4. Click Refresh to update the messages database on the BlackBerry smartphone.
5. From the File menu, click Open.
6. Go to the location where the BlackBerry smartphone backup file is saved, select the backup file, and click Open.
7. In the Computer databases list, select Messages. Click the arrow pointing to the Device Databases list.
8. A warning message appears. Click OK to continue. The messages database is restored to the BlackBerry smartphone.
9. Click Back.
10. Click main menu to return to the main menu of the BlackBerry Desktop Manager.

hit menu,then go to settings,then hit phone settings,then hit language:)

This was a problem that perplexed me for a while too. Ultimately I learned that the curve has several different folders for different email addresses. This also includes a message folder for all messages. First go to the Home Screen and press the menu / Blackberry button. Select "Show All". Now scroll through until you see the offending folder indicating there is a message there. Delete that message and you should be back to normal. My problem had been a saved unread message in the saved messages folder that wasn't being displayed initially. That should take care of your problem!

Look through all menus until you find a setting called "Idioma" or "Lenguaje", and then you'll be able to change it back to English.

has it ever worked?
it could be that your are pressing the wrong combination buttons or that if its a laptop with a spanish keyboard, the keyboard settings is kind of wrong..

to check if its the keyboard settings, go to control panel and look for something that has to do with lenguaje.. there you can set up the lenguaje you want..
