Check it with a multimeter and make sure that its showing some voltage, if it isn't then lift up the blue plastic housing on the battery and verify that the positive and negative terminals are connected

I have a 2004 Kawasaki zzr 600 that does not keep the charge longer than 2 days. What is causing this problem

hi, you probably have a "almost dead" batery, but in order to properly check, proceed as folows:
1 - give the batery a full charge
2 - disconect both cables (+) and (-) from batery
3 - check charge and see if batery holds it - a good batery must keep 12,7 to 13,2 volts for a very long period
If after this test, considering that batery is ok, then chek your wiring loom for ground losses
good luck

How to charge new battery in my laptop

as i do not know what laptop we are talking about here i asume its not a notebook
if it is the time is slightly lower (6-8 hours)
a normal lap top 10 - 12 hours.
some super batery laptops come with an own (long) guide how to keep the batery alive.

to keep the batery alive a long period of time charge it from 50% not when its at critical.

If u can take out the batery when you are using cable and its fully charged it also has a longer life time. or just take out the cable when its at 100% and recharge it when it gets to 50%

dont have your computer in the lap it can over heat the computer/batery and the lifte time gets even lower.

When I charge a battery, the red light on the charger comes on but never switches to green and I dont know how long I need to charge each battery?

the green light or LED indicates or sign the the batery you are charging is already full,.so if it doesn't happen to switch ,it means that your baterry is weak and can not reach anymore the amount of current or amperes needed thats why it cant go to the highest peak of charging just like when it is new.Replace your batery and the green light will switch again if it is fully charge.

Start with jump and run but the batery no charge

You need a voltmeter to test with. Check your battery voltage while the bike is running. At idle you should get around 13-14v, at 4000 rpm you should get over 14. If you're getting less than 13 your charging system has a problem. Could be a bad voltage regulator.

Batery hang problem

batteries have a charge memory in the, when you purchase a new battery the best thing to do is to fully drain the battery before charging it up, this will tell the battery that it needs full charge, if you charge the battery before this it will only charge the battery to a certain percentage.
what you need to do now is find a way to fully discharge the batteries

kind regards
