Normally, at least on an American grill hose/regulator assembly are a universal fit. And both ends of the hose have female couplings. I would think it would be the same on German Models too. For the connection to the grill, the hose coupling size is 3/8" ID.

Where can i get a kit or info to change a genesis gold b lp 110101 to natural gas.

Give their customer service department a call at 1-800-446-1071 and they'll be able to tell you if the conversion kit is available for that specific grill. If the grill is old, there may not be a kit. In that instance, you could simply purchase a new grill, or try one of the specialty grill shops that sells replacement parts.

Weber won't get very hot

Safety valve needs reset.
  • Close the LP tank valve
  • Turn all burner control knobs to the OFF position
  • Open the grill lid
  • Turn the LP tank valve until it is completely open
  • Wait several seconds
  • Turn the front burner to the HI/Start position
  • Press the igniter until the burner is lit.
  • Turn remaining burners to High
  • Close the lid.
  • The grill should preheat to 500-550 degrees in 10-15 minutes
I called Weber and the rep walked me through the reset. All grills made after 1996 have this bypass valve.

Sounds like you have a faulty regulator. If you replace this make sure that you get a replacement of the same size.

Weber Genesis Gold B Grill Problem

Could be partially clogged burner openings (jets).
Remove the cooking grates and the flavorizer bars. Obtain a BRASS brush (like used to clean white-wall tires) and brush the burner tubes from side to side and up and down along their entire length to remove all corrosion from the jets. Also the cross-over tube.
Before replacing the flavorizer bars and cooking grates, ignite all burner tubes and check to see the flames are all of about equal length and intensity.
If this isn't the problem, check the screens at the right-side ends of the burner tubes to be sure they're not clogged.
If the burner tubes are all clean and some don't ever ignite, the problem could be in the valves/manifold.
