The drain hose is to drain the unit when in dehumidifier mode. You can get the manual on the link below just enter the # code then click on download manual. Page 10 of the manual.

Where can in get a set of exhaust/intake hoses for a danby dpac120068 air conditioner

Is there a reason not to just go to the Danby site? Support Danby includes phone support, email and "Find Parts" Even if their source is out you should at least be able to find the correct part number, then Google Danby (part number).
You could also look to see if generic flexible vinyl tubing/hose can be substituted. It's doubtful that Danby created their own hoses.

Cant find manual. How do you adjust tempature on this ? Thank you

First make sure that the unit is in Cool mode. (Press the Mode button: the choices are Cool, Dehumidify, Fan and Auto. You will see the mode at the top of the LCD display - Cool to the left and Auto above the temperature display) Then press the + or - buttons (or the up/down arrows on the remote) to reach the temperature that you want the unit to maintain. If you press both the up and down buttons together, the current set temperature will display for about 5 seconds. Then you can set the unit back into the Auto mode so that the mode and fan will switch on as needed.

Danby has the manual for the DPAC7099 on their site: http://www.danby.com/product/DPAC7099/4 . See the Literature tab. The direct link is http://www.danby.ca/cms/uploads/products/en_manual/dpac7099_web.pdf .

I hope this helps.

I need to replace a hose on a Danby portable airconditioner model # DPAC120068

The first place to start is with the manufacturer, Danby 800-496-6049. Or take a section of the hose with you and go to your nearest home center and purchase a similar hose (same diameter) and use all the existing fittings that you have, to remount it with the new hose. There are several types available that will work well for this type of application and probably last longer than the original hose did.

Hope this helped you. Please let me know. Thanks.

I have my hose plugged in and its draining alot of water. I am just using air conditioner

Depending on you ambient humidity, you can get a lot of condensate water. Think of it this way, your air conditioner is trying to cool the air, just like ice cubes in a glass. Wouldn't you expect to the outside of the glass to be dripping wet if you set it out for a while?

Water spill

1) Press the POWER SWITCH key (Fig. G) to
switch the unit on.
2) Press the MODE key (Fig. H) until the DRY
indicator light illuminates on the control panel
(Fig. I). Each depression of the MODE key will
advance to a different mode setting (Cool -
Dehumidify - Fan - Auto )
3) If the room temperature is > 25°C (77°F), fan
speed can be adjusted. Press the FAN key (Fig.

selection will appear on the control panel. Each
depression of the fan key will advance to a
different fan speed (High - Med. - Low )
as shown in Fig. K. Otherwise fan speed is fixed
to low.
Note: The warm air exchange hoses must vent
inside the room when using Dehumidify mode.

Danby dpac120068 Air Condtioner, where does the hose go? and do you fill the tank in the back with water?

hose goes into a bucket or out a window, drained, etc. it's the drain hose for the condensation. alternatively you can use the tank to catch the condensation, which must be emptied periodically.
