Are you saying that when you open you are prompt for the network log in (rectangular ) and you want the clasic one with the username pages aligned one under another and where you click on one and insert the password.. ..for that you have to uninstall the client for net-ware from the lan card ..first ..cause that it what it caused it in the first place ..just double click the lan icon in tray ..go properties...and in the list click any client related with netware ..or network log-in ..and uninstall it ..
restart and after that you should go to control panel ..and open the user accounts place...
In there choose a admin account ..and click on the change the way users log in ...and after that choose use the welcome screen ..Thia will get you back after restart ..but first you have to remove that client from the net lan card ..cause that caused it ..when you tried to make a connection and kinda wonder around making trials..

Hi Ashley,

There is one way... SAFE MODE! (Got to love Safe Mode)

http://www.davidtan.org/hacking-cracking-windows-xp-login-password/

Hacking Windows XP Login Password 1. Restart your computer and keep pressing F8.
2. From the menu, select boot in safe mode with command prompt.
3. once you're at the command prompt, type "net users" (without quotes)
4. You will see a list of usernames. Pick the username that you are using and type "net users username *" (without quotes, replace username with a real username from that username list)
5. You will be asked to enter a new password and a second reconfirmation.
6. Press enter and you will be told that your username password has been changed successfully.

How to Reset Windows Password with Default Admin Password?

The Windows operating system allows you to assign a password to each user account. This provides privacy to different users on one computer. Each user is allowed to set up his own environment and settings to maintain personal files. The difficultly comes when a computer is not functioning correctly and needs to be put into safe mode, but a password is not available. Creating a disc on Windows permits you to reset Windows password, get access to your locked computer and replace the forgotten or lost password.
Let us discuss the method of Windows password recovery, if you have access to any of the account with administrator rights or you have not assigned a password to the account with username administrator. Open the user account and change the password of the desired account. Restart you system to login your account with the changed password.
If your logon screen is Windows XP style, administrator user will not be shown on the logon screen. I can't log in to my account on my Dell PC?

Now which operating system are you running ?

Forgetting your Windows XP login details might at first seem like a disaster. Don't panic though; your login password and username are easily recovered by changing the login details to that of the administrator.

Begin with your computer turned off, and then turn it on. You will need to log in to your computer manually and this can only be done in the load-up screens. Wait until your computer reaches the Windows login screen. The screen usually displays a "Welcome" message. Press and hold the "Ctrl", "Alt" and "Delete" keys two times at the Windows login screen. Your computer will automatically reveal a Classic Login box. Type "Administrator" (without quote marks) into the "Username" field and leave the "Password" field blank. Windows automatically creates an Administrator account when your computer is first booted up; in this account you can alter or change any user's login details. Navigate through the "Start" menu and click on the "Control Panel." In the Control Panel explorer, double-click on the "User Accounts" icon to open a new window. Select "Change an Account" in the User Accounts window and select the username you want to alter. From here you can edit the user's name and password, but you can also alter the user's picture, account type and .NET password. Restart your computer to login with your new username and password.

How do I change my password

Hi to reset your password, please follow these steps --

1. Open the internet browser of your choice.
2. Enter 192.168.0.1 into the address bar.
3. In the username field select admin
4. By default the passsword is blank. If you changed it when you previously setup your router, enter the changed password.
5. To change the password used to login to your router, click on Tools in the menu bar at the top of the browser screen.
6. Under the Admin Password section, you can change the username and the password to login as an administrator. It is suggested that you change the username and password of your router.
7. Under the User Password section, you can change the username and password to login as a user. Logging in as a user allows you to see the settings, however, you are not able to change any of them.

If you would like additional information, please ask. Also, if you would like information on setting up your wireless, please post that question.

I bought a asprie 5100 from a pawnee shop. Little did i know the last owner left the password on there and now i cant get into it. how do i get into it to get the password off it?

If the default Operating System, i.e. windows xp is still installed, you can try login using the Administrators account. Once you reach the Login screen, press Ctrl+Alt+Del two times, you'll get the classic login box with username and password box. Usually the admin password is left blank, in the username box, type in "Administrator" (without quotes) and leave the password box blank and press Enter or click "Ok". If you are fortunate, you'll be able to login with the Administrator's account. You can make the changes with the default user account which is password protected once you are logged in as Administrator. If this isn't working and there's a password with the administrator's account or if it's not windows xp, your only option is to format it and reinstall the Windows.
There are several methods, but those are not authorized to apply without proper license and without authorization and will termed as Illegal if found. Actually it's System administrator's or System engineer's job to do all these.

In fact, this technique is not allowed to us

If you need further help, let me know.

Good luck.

Thanks for using FixYa.
