Question about Haier Mechanical Air Conditioner HWF05XC7
This portable AC unit was working fine.
We thought we blew a fuse, but it was just the Surge protector tripped.
We turned it off to run the microwave & toaster oven so as to not trip the surge protector again.
When I hit the On switch, it started for a half a second then stopped. It would not start again.
We let it rest all afternoon, and it still would not start.
Everything else is working at this outlet and there are no blown fuses.
Is there a reset switch?
I had the same problem with a different model. I tested the cord, it worked, but still would not turn on. Well, after two days my friend and I decided we would try to replace the battery in the remote---it worked! Try your remote battery.
