Question about Casio Wave Ceptor WV57HA-1AV Wrist Watch
My casio wave ceptor no longor displays the signal stength icon dispite the fact that it is set to automatically recieve signal. it used to do so for about 2 years but lately will not automatically pick up signal from Rugby. The current time is wrong and would love it to automatically adjust. Can you help?
Check to see if the watch is set up to get its time from another country. You may find that the fault started with a battery change or an all reset of the watch. The default location for many of these models is for North America or Asia. In some models the location is not active until it is set. In different parts of the world, they are using different time set protocols. There are some technical reasons for this.
Check the instructions about setting the time zone for the watch. Pay particular attention to the time zone setting, location setting, and that the feature is turned on in the first place.
