You need to have access to your Call Manager Administration. You can change the conferencing setting by going to the Service drop down menu. Choose Service Parameters. Pick your server (subscriber) and choose Call Manager for the current service. Under Clusterwide Parameters you can change the number of users you allow in a conference and meet me conference.

What's the difference between teleconferencing and videoconferencing?

First of all, we have to know the definitions of teleconferencing and videoconferencing.

Teleconference is a telephone meeting held between two or more locations through a telecommunications system.

Videoconferencing is the conduct of a video meeting among two-person or more people in separate places by means of computer networks to transmit both audio and video data.

Difference of Teleconferencing and Videoconferencing

1. Teleconferencing is voice-only or audio-video communication, while video conferencing supports the conference by providing both the video and voice, so that you can absolutely see the person when you are listening to the communicator.

2. Teleconferencing is capable of transmitting the data during the conferencing either using traditional PBX systems or VoIP while video conferencing is offering VoIP services. The formal is less bandwidth intensive while the latter is heavily dependent on the networking broadband.

3. Apart from audio and video data transmitted during the conference that teleconferencing can provide, video conferencing can also enable you to share more information like files, applications, whiteboard and etc.
