All that you would need to do is you would have to go into this link below:-
http://support.acer.com/drivers_download.aspx from where you need to select your model after which you need to select your Operating System as WINDOWS 7 Home Premium 64-bit and then below drivers you need to install the drivers for the ATI radeon. This way you would updating the video drivers on your computer.

Need to uninstall ATI CATALYST Install Manager * I am upgrading windows from vista to windows 7 but need to uninstall ATI CATALYST Install Manager *

Aside from the standard option of "Add / Remove Programs" in the Windows Control Panel, you can use the far superior Revo Uninstaller program. ninite.com will supply you with a simple one click install of Revo, and uninstall the Catalyst Install Manager would just be a matter of selecting from the list after opening Revo itself.
However, I feel I should tell you that all of that is unnecessary. The real problem is with video drivers. Windows 7, on install, will mark the Catalyst Manager redundant. That's why it wants you to remove it. But you can feel free to leave it there. It will cause no harm to your system during or after upgrade.
One more thing. I would advise NOT doing a straight upgrade from Vista to 7, as the transfer leaves the registry a bit muddled, and seriously kills the speed of your computer. Instead, do a backup of all of your documents, pictures, whatever you want to save, reformat the hard drive and do a fresh install of Windows 7. Your computer will run faster and more efficiently than it ever did on Windows Vista. Simply reinstall any programs you need, transfer your backed up data back in to the system, and you'll be done.
Happy computing.

I have recently upgraded my operating system on my computer from XP to windows 7. since then my ATI X1650 PRO graphics card has been stopped by windows with the following message: "Windows has stopped...

go to device manager and click on display adapter then right click on ATI X1650 then run an update. It might be because the driver on your computer is not update with the driver that is not compatible with windows 7. Hope this would help. Thanks.

Having problems installing mmc on vista,,tv will not work saying you are using the wrong driver,,where can i get the right one, tried variouds one from the ati web site none seem to work the tv.

Try XP or Windows 7 ;-)
This is one of the reason why Vista is so unpopular.
You will find a bug, you can not fix.

Are you sure your setup disk is for Vista 32/64 Bit no 2000 - XP?
If it is... Turn on automatic updates and install every updates they're normaly updates for bugs.

Dimension 3000, ATI TV Wonder 100 issues

Since you already tried to go to ATI to download the latest drivers, do this:
Go to control panel, and administrative tools.
Click on the event viewer and check out the system logs (click on system) and look for entries on the right side with a red X.
These will probably give you a clue just what part of the sytem is having a problem with the card.
If the problems occur when you use an application and not in Windows generically, click on the application logs and see if there is a problem there.
Be aware that this may take some sleuthing--the error messages are not always clear, but many times you can click on the link that takes you to Microsoft and they suggest what you can do.

Dell Dimension 3000, ATI tuner issues

I have an older ATI turner as well and the older cards do not work too well with Windows Xp or Vista. You may be able to find a driver that works by performing a Google search for it, otherwise the cards are very inexpensive right now and you can pick up a new one, probably with HD, for less than $100.

ATI Radeon X1300 wont work with my Vista 32 bit

Try this.

Download the unified Radeon drivers from ATI's website... do not use Windows update. Get the Drivers Only package. for Vista 32-bit

If you can get to the desktop:
Uninstall the existing display drivers by using the remove hardware utility. Whatever they are... remove them. Reboot. Windows will try to reinstall the drivers on the next boot. If it allows you cancel the installation at any time during install do it. Run the downloaded package from ATI. Reboot.

If you can't get to the desktop:
Press F8 when booting and enter safe mode with networking. Download the ATI drivers from ati.com for Vista 32-bit.
Uninstall the display drivers. Reboot. Should take you to the desktop on the next boot so you can run the install program.

My graphic become blur

You need to switch it to 32-bit, not 16 bit. DX9 drivers shouldn't be an issue, but if all else fails re-installing you video card drivers might help.

Hope that helps,
