Question about Refrigerators
In the rear bottom of the fridge you'll see white plastic box held in with 2 screws remove and slide up a little as it has two hooks holding it in position, next you'll notice a housing on the side of the compressor remove the metal retainer and cap will come off. There is a thermal (interupter) swtich, and a relay right next to it. The thermal switch is held in with a metal clip , push in and back, should come out if it rattles its bad you'll need to remove the relay next as it holds the wire for the thermal switch in place, next check the relay if it rattles its bad. If its like mine both were bad i replaced them and discovered the compressor was locked up. Good luck
