This is fault code 48 wich means the hot & cold inlet valves cold be faulty..But first check that both of your taps are turned on.most of the time someone has turned off the taps on the wall without telling you..The computer board has sensed that no hot or cold water is coming in.Its just unusual that both valves are faulty at the same time.the valves can be gotten to by unscrewing the 2 phillips head screws the the control box.take the lid off first.the valves are to the left.unplug the blue wire clip the the valve & the same with red one.the valves need to be tested for a circuit they should read somewhere around 63 ohms.If they are ok then i'm sorry but it's probably going to be the computer board.can you let me know what you come up with,im interested to know the outcome.thanks,Chris

There is a service summary with error codes under the control panel in a zip lock bag. My pump was being blocked by a bobby pin. It has to pump down before it will start the spin cycle. Removing the basket allowed access to the pump and I was able to clean out the suction. I was amazed by the scum build up under the basket. I will now remove the basket yearly to clean under it.

Most dishes in any dishwasher are still wet when cycle is finished. The heat built up in the dishes during the washing cycle is what causes the water to evaporate when the machine stops.
If you want to accelerate the evaporation, simply open the door very slightly so that as the hot air escapes it causes the dishes to dry quicker.

Water building up during the dry cycle and clothes getting wetter

1) Make sure wash cycle is 100% finished (sometimes dryer will start before - usu on synthetic cycle & allows water to continue flowing in)

2) Manually start the dry cycle after you ensure wash cycle is finished and push in the wash cycle button.

Hope that helps! If not, you may need a new control module (I did - hope you don't!)

Won't finish cycle

The water may not be getting hot enough in the rinse cycle. Usually it needs to heat to 140 to 160 degrees for rinsing. If the heating element is not working the water will not heat. If your DW has a Sanitary setting it will be calling for the water to be 160 degrees. If you have the option to override the Sanitary settin, try that to see if the rinse cycle will finish with cooler water.

Door will not open on my WM1480FHD after wash

Hi ii_goldie,What about the RINSE cycle... maybe the washer knows the "full cycle" is NOT finished.

The washer will display DONE... and make the door available to you. If not the cycle may not be finished. OR, turn it off, however, DON'T open the door if your machine has not drained all the water out, allow the system to finish.

My washing machine will not drain. It finished all the cycles but didn't drain after the rinse cycle. It still spun afterwards with water still in it.

Kenmore dishwasher not draining when finished full cleaning cycle

sounds like a cycle timer problem. Look for a loose wire on the cycle timer. If yours is a digital timer, it is a board issue. Sorry.

Bosch axxis door won't open

michele99, So when you put it on drain, do you here the machine trying to drain the water? After it finishes draining, (you have to wait a few minutes, it should then have a blinking light
on the Finished/Door locked light.
Are you waiting for it to finish?
