I am getting a new computer, but the registration CD that came with my ipod nano was lost last year. Is there a way I can transfer the itunes program to my new computer? If not, am I able to get a new registration CD for the ipod nano? Please help!
Basicly you simply need the itunes, and then your music, witch is on your ipod and your itunes account? so I think you simple have to install itunes, login, plug the ipod in and everything should work as before. Might be a bit difrent if the itunes program has been updated from your previous version.
I think you can order a new cd from apple if you need one.
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.

When you plugged the IPod into the new or cleaned computer, it was like plugging the iPod into a brand new computer with different specs. The formatting options may have changed, and when the iPod tried to adjust for this format difference, the DB or file system could have become corrupted. forutnately, Apple has ways to correct this problem.
To help you, I will need to know what OS you have? Windows XP? Windows Vista?
Of course, this is only one of many possibilities. I would start simple - do the 5 "R's" that Apple suggest in the manual: Remember these five basic suggestions if you have a problem with your iPod nano. If one of the following doesn’t help, read on for solutions to specific problems. â Reset your iPod nano. See “General Suggestions,” below. â Retry with a different USB port if you cannot see iPod nano in iTunes. â Restart your computer and make sure you have the latest software updates installed. â Reinstall iPod and iTunes software from the latest versions on the web. â Restore your iPod nano. See “Updating and Restoring iPod Software” on page 50.
After doing this, try to resync thos songs.
If you install the itunes version 7.5 that you downloaded, you wont lose your music library. It is a separate file from the programs installation files. You don't need to uninstall the previous version, the new one will install on top of it.
heyy....simply uninstall ur itunes and then again download the same version of itunes frm apple.com.....if the next time u connect ur ipod with ur new itunes and in case iff the songs get erased...(in case u have kept syncronizing automatic)...the simple download a software called RECUVA frm RECUVA.COM....WHEREIN ALL UR ERASED SONGS CAN BE OBTAINED BACK.......enjoy.............cheers!!!!!!!!!!
