1.It's needs to be reset. Press ON/OFF switch to reset the multifunction device with the power connected. 2. Clear any paper jam or any obstructions. 3. Clean the connectors and interfaces on the printer as well as on the cartridges. This will fix your problem. Good luck. Thanks for using FixYa.
