Microwave won't heat or turn off unless I press the door

GE Sensor Microwave Model JES1451BJ02
The microwave oven will only heat and count down properly if I press the upper right corner of the door and lift up on the bottom right corner of the door at the same time. I see no way to adjust the door so the microwave works properly. If I don't do as described above, the microwave starts automatically when I close the door, doesn't heat and never stops.

That would be a loose door switch mount, a failing door switch, or both.

On GE models, "SENSOR ERROR" appears on the display when:

Using the sensor feature, the door was opened before steam could be detected. Do not open the door until stream is sensed and time is shown counting down on the display.

Steam was not detected in the macimum amount of time. Use Time Cook to heat for more time.
