My unit is 3 years old. We have recently heard

My unit is 3 years old. We have recently heard water leaking in the crawl space where our main vent and filter are. The unit is located directly above this. We were told to pour bleach down the pvc tube that it was probably clogged up with algae. We have done this 3 times in the past 2 days. The unit isnt cold when this is happening. We have to turn it off and hope it works for a little while. Do you have another solution

Sounds like the evap coil is freezing. it is frozen if you have low air flow. check the lines and see if your suction line is freezing. also check your filter. if you think your drain line is clogged cut the line and blow out with an air compressor or nitrogen. all you should need to fix the line would be a 3/4 in coupling or a union. hope this helps

Very likely.
Here's why.
Because of the real danger of overheating and fire, dryers are "loaded" with overheat switches which will shut thr dryer off if they get hot.
One reason is that lint catches fire so easily.
Here's hoping you problem will resolve soon!

you will need to explain more of where the leak is on the bottom. You have two plastic valves on the bottom and if the clips are not on exactly it will leak and if the person who replaced valves did not use vasoline when they put it back together the could have cut the gasket ring on the inside putting in back together and again it will leak. You have to determine where the leak is coming from to begin with using a flash light to get the exact location. .

do you have floor or ceiling vents, and does your house have concrete flooring or do you have a crawl space under depending on the answer because if you have a unit that is all outside then the duct may not be sealed

it could be an air handler in the attic, do you have gas or ele. some are built into the water heater if it is gas, do you have base boards running around the bottom of your floor or air vents with am ac condesor outside if this is the case it could be either the crawl space or attic

My Central heating system as no vent

You are talking about a gas fired system I assume. So no, it's not a big deal. Code now states that you need to vent the gas furnace from the attic or a crawl space and not from the living space. They change this code back and forth all the time. It's nothing to worry about if you do not plan to sell the home.

Moisture sensor not working

Once I discovered that the problem was not the dryer, I went into my crawl space and discovered the plastic duct was clogged with lint. Apparently the duct was not changed since the house was built over five years ago! The 4" duct was also duct taped to a 3" connector. Additionally the line ran into the crawl space at a 90 degree angle in a space that was only 2" wide! My husband adjusted the way the line ran into the crawl space and replaced it with a rigid aluminum duct. The auto sense works on my dryer and it takes only 30 min. to dry a load of laundry instead of 1-1/2 hours!
