Question about Facebook Social Network

1 Answer

The normal facebook homepage is not up. Everything is a link in blue and when I click on it nothing happens. Logging in and out doesn't help and neither does restarting my computer. I have a Mac and nothing else on my computer seems to be affected, except for facebook. What should I do?

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

Change facebook back to english

Hi, I would assume Facebook online if this is correct follow these steps:
1) Go to www.facebook.com
2) Scroll down on the homepage till you see Facebook (C) 2013
3) On the right side of it should be a blue link, click on it.
4) This displays all the languages and select the language you are looking for.
5) Now this homepage is set to the language you just selected but you need to change the language within your profile.
6) Login and on the right side where the advertisements are look for the Facebook (C) 2013 and below it the first link is the language link click on it and set your preferred language.

My computer is not letting me go to facebook.com whats the problem

check your firewall settings
I've seen other messags like mine, but I haven't been able to solve this problem...
I have a desktop Emachines computer, and I'm using Windows XP.
Yesterday, I was using Facebook, and it was working fine. I was checking messages on one page, and playing the "Pirates" app in another window... and it all just stopped working. So I exited everything, and tried to sign back in, but when I did, the home page wouldn't load. It sort of comes up. It says Facebook, and it has the links at the top that say "profile, friends, inbox," and it has the little notification thing at the bottom... The little red bubble says I have 5 notifications, but when I click it nothing happens. I CAN however, click the "profile" link and go to my profile wall. I can see everything there, but none of the links work. I can't remove posts or anything.
I signed onto my husband's facebook, and then my sister's, and the same exact problem happened. Home page won't load, links don't work.
Everything else on the internet is working fine. Yahoo, Aol, Myspace, Google... it's all working perfectly.
I have emptied my cookies, cache, temporary folders. I have restarted the computer. I have allowed add ons and pop ups. I have made sure Facebook is a "Trusted Site." I have run Avast virus scan and Malwarebytes' Anti Malware scan. They detected no problems. Following a suggestion on this site, I downloaded Opera at www.opera.com. No results. I emailed Facebook. No answer. I called my ISP. Their answer: Server must be down. The server is not down. My sister down the road is on Facebook right now. My firewall is not blocking Facebook.
I think it may be a virus, because all of the icons on my desktop all suddenly have blue backgrounds for no reason... but Avast and Malwarebytes are finding nothing, there's nothing suspicious in my list of programs... However, if I did pick up a virus, it came from Facebook, because I'd been mostly offline for a long time, except to check my Facebook messages and play the facebook apps.
If anyone can tell me how to fix this, I will really appreciate it. I've wasted 2 hours today changing settings and downloading "fixes" that do nothing.

Cannot login to facebook

Facebook locks accounts suspected of being hacked or accessed for nefarious purposes. Facebook also locks users out of an account for too many incorrect attempts logging in with the wrong password or email address. Depending on the reason for the disabling of your account, you can access different contact forms that will help you unlock your Facebook account.

Open the Facebook homepage and click "Forgot Your Password?" under the login and password text boxes if you know your Facebook username or the email you use to log in. Complete all the fields with the requested information and click "Search." Use the link "I Cannot Identify My Account" and click "Submit" to get help from Facebook to unlock your account if you don't know your email address and password. Enter the CAPTCHA letters and numbers to proceed to the next step and click "Identify Your Account." Click "This Is My Account" to continue with the changing of your password. Add check boxes next to the email addresses or mobile phone numbers to which you wish the password reset code to be sent. The full email address or phone number is not displayed for privacy. Click "Reset Code." Access your reset code from your email address, and enter the code provided into the "Enter Password Reset Code" page. Click "Submit Code" and enter a new password to access your account. Compromised Account Open the Facebook homepage and click "Help" in the lower right-hand corner to access the form to report a compromised account. Click the link to the left for "Browse Help Topics" and choose the link for "Login and Password" to access the "Report Compromised Account" form. Scroll down and choose the link that says: "My email address or my Facebook account has been compromised." Select the appropriate scenario and follow the directions for reporting a compromised account based on if you've been phished or not. It may take awhile before you get access back to your Facebook account after it's locked.

I cant log in to my fb account ! when i log in it redirects me to advertising page ! i cant reach anything ! my profile just vanished suddenly ! hell facebook just vanished ! only things there are a logout...

the way you describe it, it's more of a browser issue than of facebook concern... try deleting cached and cookies in internet options
start>control panel>internet option>under general tab click on delete cookies or delete browsing history...
