Use the reel rewind mode and take the reel for developing. At least the ones you have taken will be there.

Should be OK, only the one photo on top could be exposed, the rest should be OK for sure.

How do I remove film from the camera?

wow a film camera!!!! , didn't know any of these still existed (less than 60mm) anyways you'll need to rewind the film back into housing , this is done with tiny crank on top of film advance wheel (don't go to fast !!!) slow and steady wins the race!! you'll also need to activate the shutter release lever (around the crank someplace) DO NOT OPEN CAMMERA TILL YOU HAVE REWINDED ALL THE FILM INTO HOUSING !!!!!!!!!!!! it will ruin all the photos

The new roll of film winds into the right spool upon closing back cover // brand new batteries displays 1/2 and ERR appears on led panel

Is the ERR blinking, and is there an additional blinking E on the display? If so, the film is not loaded properly.
The film is supposed to advance all the way to the take-up spool upon loading. The camera then "rewinds" one frame at a time as you take pictures. This way the camera knows exactly how many shots are left on the roll. Also, if the back is accidentally opened, the shots already taken are already in the can and won't be ruined.
If you need a manual, you may download a copy here.
Try cleaning the battery contacts and see whether the battery reads full with no film in the camera.
If problems persists, feel free to reply to this post and give any additional details.

Why is my polaroid photos coming out white?

Probably because they were exposed to light. This commonly happens when the user opens the film holder after they put it in.

Just remember to place the film inside in a dark place ONCE. After that don't take it out again otherwise they come out blank.

If this continues to happen buy a new film or take the camera to a "doctor" to check it out

I accidentally pushed the film release button before finishing my film, and it won't pop back out. it won't let me take pictures too. how do you fix this?

The mechanism won't re-engage until you open the door (camera back) and shut it again, then wind on and fire a few shots as if starting a new film. You could open and shut the door in total darkness, and then waste a few shots to carry on with the film in the camera, but the frame counter will be wrong. Unless there is a lot of film left on the cassette, you might as well just rewind it and start again with a new film. Yes, you will probably be paying more than you should for the processing and printing of a partial film, but you will get your pics.

My Canon AE-1 Program will not rewind. I shot the whole roll, rewound a little, and then accidentally opened the back cover. The counter reset to S, and the rewind crank just unscrews when I try to...

I think you have already ruined the film except the frames that are rewind back to the film cartridge.
You can take the film out from the camera, push in the rewind button at the bottom, pull out the film from the film take up reel.
On the film cartridge, turn on the long tube in the middle clockwise to wind all the film back into the cartridge.
If you had the back opened briefly, do manual film rewinding in the dark room.

How to open filnm compartment of old 35mm nikon

Is it an SLR model?

I am not familiar with Nikons; however, Minolta and Canon SLR film camera's film compartments are opened by lifting up on the film rewind mechanism on the top left side of the camera.

If the Nikons are designed like Minolta and Canon, there will be a small tab to push in at the bottom of the camera. This releases the film and allows it to be rewound. At the top left will be a small rewind lever that is used to do the rewind. The part of the camera that the rewind lever is attached to is pulled up to open the back of the camera.

I loaded the film but display window shows a flashing zero

Go ahead and try anyway. A ruined film is far cheaper than a useless camera or a professional repair. In any case, if the film hasn't loaded properly it will only be the first short length of film which is ruined. As this is a newly loaded film you haven't any risk of losing any undeveloped photos.

Auto spooling film systems are great when they work, but sometimes are a real pain and some cameras seem really picky about having a film leader of precisely the right length. See if you can engage the the film onto the spool manually.

Film doesn't "snap" into place in film compartment - Olympus is-1

You have a broken spring in the film holding end. I would get it repaired so the roll of film doesn't pop out of place and ruin the whole roll or damage the shutter.

Shutter stays open on mamiya 645 M

Get any crud from the battery out of the works with pH-neutral stuff and q-tips or lint-free towels, and see if it works (without film; might as well check current drain with a bench supply instead of a battery, too) once you've done a satisfactory job of that.  Then visit a shop so they can see if the shutter timing is tolerable...and perhaps sometime you can load film in again.

Film Rewind

check the mechanism inside the film compartment, it may have a broken rewinding gear, if there's nothing broken clean the contact point inside the film compartment, use cotton buds and alcohol or fluid.
