Question about Garden

1 Answer

OPened my pool up about a week ago, got out almost all of the leaves, put in 2 bags of "shock it" each day for 2 days. My pool is blue but very cloudy. What should be the next step to get rid of the cloudines, and also is it safe to swim in this condition?

Add muratic acid to the water and use a testing kit to check the PH before using it. This will eliminate the cloudiness in the water

28,000 gallons of water is the same size I had
Use 4 gallons on the initial shock treatment when you first open the pool up. The 2 gallons per week there after. If the pool is use quite frequently and gets cloudy sooner use one gallon after heavy use of your pool from a lot of people in it

The filter wasn't changed for a couple of weeks and lots of leaves fell in our pool, I changed the filter put more salt but the pool water is getting greener and greener every day, what can I do? Intex...

Shock your pool ... take it to about 20 ppm and run the filter 24 hours a day. Brush the sides. When the pressure goes up 10 lbs over fresh start pressure, backwash or clean your cart as appropriate. Is your salt cell calling for more salt? Salt is persistent in the water (like CAL, salt doesn't just go away. The only way you loose either is by splash out and/or backwash.) If you dont know the level and your cell will not tell you, get tghe level checked at your pool place. You should have around 3200 ppm salt. Dont expect your salt system to keep up with the green stuff when the green stuff is established. You MUST use dry or liquid CL to overcome. You MUST brush the pool sides and bottom. You must run the filter 24 hours.

Between the green stuff and the sun, the CL your cell is making is consumed almost as fast as you make it.

Get your Cyanuric acid level to 80 ppm.

I hope this helps you ... Thanks for your interest in FixYa.com

Chlorine generator not working(brand new)

Super shock your pool ... take it to around 20 ppm CL using liquid or powdered CL. Brush your pool daily for several days ... run your filter at least 16 hours a day ... 24/7 would be better. Maintain 5 ppm CL and brush weekly after you get the algae under control.

My pool water turned green after I put an alkalinity and ph stabilizer in it what can i do to get it clean again?

Pure bleach, gets mine clear when it turns green. If its just clear water with a green tent then i would use bleach. I only use bleach to maintain my pool. I have a 20 round 88,00 gallon pool and i use 1 and half gallons of bleach every week to keep my pool clean and i use a bag of shock it every month or so, all the shock is used for is to drop everything to the bottom so i can vacuum it. If u have a smaller pool then i would use about 3/4 a gallon a week on a 15 round 5,000 gallon pool and about a half a gallon for a smaller pool. But it will for sure get ur water clear and if u dont want to use bleach then shock it will do it and to maintain use the shock it atleast once a week. When u use the bleach make sure u pour in over the where the water returns in your pool slowly to help it not hit the bottom. When u pour it over the clean water that is returning to your pool then it will help spread it throughout your pool and dilute it so it wont spot your liner up with lil bleach spots. So just pour it slowly over the return water comin out of the side of your pool. Also if its an algea problem then bleach will def work to prevent and kill the algea and u can u an algeacide to get rid of it if u dont want to use the bleach. The bleach is the cheapest way and fast way i have found to keep a pool clean. My pool is cyrstal clear, u can see any specs that is floating in it I hope this helps, please let me know what u think and rate solution. thanks and good luck
God bless

LG Dare dropped in Pool

Just put it in a bag of rice for couple of weeks. The rice pulls all the water or wetness out of the phone. How do I know, Well I found a brand New Lg Dare phone in a puddle, put it in rice for 2 1/2 months. I took it out of the bag, put it together, turn it on. To my amazement it worked. Ran to store, bought a charger, and it has worked every day since.

Creative labs zen v 4gb mp3 player seems to have haywire...

It probably has some moisture still in it and needs to dry out.....This happened to me with my iPod....Put in a window seal that gets sun light all day and leave it there for 2 days....A friend of mine dropped his in a craper and he put his in a ziplock bag full of kitty litter and it worked as well.....So I would give either one of those a try...what’s the worst that can happen...it dries out and works :)

Good Luck and let me know if this helped
