You can plug most memory cards directly into your comnputer if you have a card reader, and put songs or whatever you want on it, but your phone won't read it unless it has an application that reads that certain file type, or if the operating system on your phone will read it (like if you have an iphone, it will read songs because of itunes application) otherwise, putting all the songs you want on it will not do you any good.

Maybe you want to give a little more information? (like what phone you have, what type of memory card, etc.) That way someone can help you better.

Download to LG Xenon from windows media player

I discovered I was sold and using a USB charging only connector. To remedy my problem I bought a memory card reader to place my phone memory card into so I could use it directly as a memory stick in my computer. It worked perfectly. Thanks

Back up first files on your memory card on your computer. then format the memory card on the pc. Then put back the formatted memory card and format it again on the phone. Take out your memory card then put it back again on your pc to copy your previous files. This should work.

Memory cards need also formatting same as HDD's

Hope this helps...

Cannot Sync music files

Have you set your memory card as the default connection? If not then go to your phones settings menu and select the connectivity option. Then select USB settings. Next select memory card as your default connection. Ok now your default connection is set so plug the USB adaptor into your computer then into the phone. If the computer does not automatically detect the phone  open the computers control panel and select add hardware. Follow the promps in the wizard. It should come up as USB mass storage device. Once your device is recognized there are a couple of different ways to get music stored on your memory card. First is to have whatever media player is on your computer to detect your device. Then put the songs you want to tranfer into the sync list. Once you have done that click start sync and it will copy them to your phone. If the first option is not an option then onto the next. Second is to click on my computer and select the drive letter that represents your phone(mass storage device). Once that is open select the file where your music is stored and highlite the files to transfer. Once you have the files highlited drag and drop them into the window for your phone. The files should start to transfer at that point. Wait for the tranfer to complete then disconnect the USB from your phone. Open the digital audio player on your phone. It should say "updating music directory" then main menu once it is finished updating. Scroll down and select songs you should now see a list of songs. Select what you want to hear and enjoy. The first is the easiest and best way to go. The second is not hard but is more bothersome. Hope this helps.
