Inside the walking foot a piece of metal broke

I have a Viking Mega quilter and Inside the walking foot a piece of metal broke off, is that a manufacture problem? My local store said she never heard of a problem with the foot. The metal looks like it just snapped apart and the little black screw? fell out.

I would contact the manufacturer and ask about it. Maybe a replacement part is available.

How do I attach the quilting bar to the walking foot on my Simplicity Quilters Classic? The manual doesn't show how to do it

There should be a hole across the back of the walking foot (penetrates the walking foot usually from right to left, although some feet will have 2 guides--one for left to right, the other left to right) where the bar mounts and a screw to tighten and hold it in place.

How can I get my Bernina 750 to feed the top and bootom fabric pieces for quilts evenly

Try using a walking foot. The issue most quilters face when working with any sewing machine is that there is a force being applied to move the bottom fabric but the top fabric is only moving based on friction with the bottom fabric. This can cause the bottom fabric to move quicker than the top. A walking foot helps solve this issue by placing a second set of feed dogs on the top of the fabric to mirror the force being applied on the bottom, allowing both pieces of fabric to move evenly.

Hope that helps!

Foot control does not work

Does it work by pushing the Start/Stop button. If so the problem is probably with the foot control. Make sure all connections are secure. You may need a new foot control. Contact your local Viking Dealer and try one of their foot controls to determine if it is indeed the foot control or something else. You can find your nearest authorized Viking Dealer from the Viking website - http://www.husqvarnaviking.com/us Click on Locate a Dealer for your local dealers.

Are you using a stitch regulator? Try it with the foot control first. More information would help to solve your problem.
