Hi. if your roomba is under warranty send it in for a free repair, if not read on as the problem is that your cliff sensors are bad

Use good quality white printer paper. Cut a 1 and a half inch wide strip of paper 11 inches long. Now you have one long strip. Cut the strip into four 2 inch long pieces. Cut a little angle on the end to insert into the wide part of the sensor. Refer to the picture for two pieces that are laying on the Roomba just above the charger plates. Observe all 4 cliff sensors are blocked and held in place with scotch tape.

Hi, try setting the Roomba on the floor, powering it up, pressing down hard on the front, just above the front wheel, and hitting "clean" or "spot." My Roomba had the same problem, and this seems to do the trick for it. I think it has something to do with the Roomba thinking the front wheel is extended (which would indicate a cliff) even though it's really not.

If this doesn't work, you might try pressing down over whichever wheel doesn't turn when you turn the Roomba on.

Take care

SOURCE: it stays in one place

Your bump sensors are malfunctioning... The best thing to do is order a repair kit. I ordered mine from EESolutions.ca and it worked great.

ROLLER WILL NOT MOVE

Because the brush roller is not rotating, the motor shaft is spinning in one spot on the belt and eventually will burn the belt and cause it to break. You need to remove the brush roller and its end caps to remove pet hair or other matter. You may have to replace the burned belt to get things working right again.

GREEN LIGHT AND MOTOR

The green light is an indicator that your brush is rolling smoothly. If it starts to flicker and you smell something that smells like rubber burning you need to do a couple things; one is remove the roller and clean off all of the hair, string, etc. Next you want to replace your belt. Just because the roller isn't turning doesn't mean the motor and the belt aren't either. If your roller gets jammed your belt will continue to spin and it will eventually wear down in one spot and break. Replace the belt, clean the roller and your should be fine.

It stays in one place spinning around. As if it is stuck on spot clean. I held down the spot clean and demo buttom until it beeped trying to reset but this did not help.

Hello the problem i have with my roomba is? it

the best course of action is to do as it says and remove the base plate and the wheels and clean them. Don't neglect the caster in the front when you clean the two drive wheels.

Air flow indicator stays activated after filter has been cleaned. Brush spins, but very little suction. Dirt doesn't spin in cup.

Your vacuum is clogged. Check all of the air pathways, hoses, etc. The most common places to check are anywhere there's a joint in the airways, and also directly behind the brushroll.

That part to install in tank, is at the end of your hose. Take the lide off of the dirty water tank, on the front of the tank, there is a block that will slide out, then you can insert that part in its place. You have to have suction to make the brushes spin, so you just need to put the block on the end of the hose in the slot on the front of the tank. When down however, put that block you took out back, or your cleaner won't work right.
