Hi,I have a lg electro cool 420 litre fridge.I need to down load a user manual and i have a problem with my fridge.Recently the freezer which is a frost free freezer is building ice inside and then leaking on the floor.I would like to know ,what is the problem and how to sort out.
Hi mine was doing the same we recently movedhouse you need to turn the legs in front underneath so the fridge freezer is slanting so that when you open the door it will shut on its own now i have no water or ice build up on the bottom hope this helps.

This has happened to me a couple of times. The problem is that when the fridge door is opened too may times the warm air of summer will block the cold outlets in the fridge with ice.The cold air comes direct from the freezer and the chamber connecting to the fridge clogs up with ice. What one has to do is completely empty the fridge and freezer, leave open both doors so the the ice build-up can melt. Then after about at least 4-5 hours (very important to stick by this time-frame as I tried a less time, but it did not work.),close both the freezer and fridge doors and switch it on.After about 1/2 hour replace your goods in the fridge. The down-side of this is that you will need the kindness of a neighbor or two to use their fridge to store your food whilst this fix is underway..
Yes. You have a faulty automatic defrost cycle. If you manually defrost the freezer, then restart the fridge and it is back to normal. It is a sign that the defrost is faulty and you will need a technician to fix it for you
Hi, The noise is the fan hitting ice build up on the coils... it is no defrosting properly...
Check out these tips...they can help you figure out whats going wrong with yourrefrigerator and why it is not cooling
pull frig out from wall and take back off lower part and check the cond motor to make sure it is blowing and chances are it isn't so it will need to be replace / if so you can set a small fan behind to blow on compressor and coils to keep it cool till you can replace it / larry
