Question about Televison & Video
Simple tests to find where the fault is:
1 - get a home antenna (an old style passive rabbit ears) and plug it in.
2 - get an RF signal from a dvd player thru to the antenna conector .
If you get even the faintest signal or an image then the tv is good and the problem is in your present antenna and all the other amplifiers attached to it.
If you don't get an image then try another tv of whatever type with all the available sources: your antenna, home antenna and the dvd player. If you get an image now then the tuner in the tv has been fried - replace it.
