Question about Canon Digital Rebel / EOS-300D Digital Camera with EF-S 18-55mm Lens
Camera is working fine with 18-55 mm lens, but won't take picture in AF mode with the AF 70-33 lens. Flash does multiple flashes and then there is a green dot that flashes in the view finder. Absolutely won't take the shot. Have turned the focus to M and it took but picture is very dark. Seems like the issue might be communication between my flash (and its settings?)... Any ideas on settings that should be tweaked or is there a way to reset to factory settings. Lens has been working fine up until today (except an occasional ERR 99 when I've zoomed way in on something. I've just turn camera off and pulled back a bit and then it'll work fine the next time.
This is a fix for the 1/5th of picture, no picture error.
It might be that when your aperture comes down, then goes back up while snapping a shot, the mirror stays down. Just flip the aperture up by hand, then just touch the mirror and make it snap back to the aperture.
